I don,t know what to think about Nolan? On one hand he won the Jack Adams and was a great coach, but on the other he doesn't understand that when he was fired he should of taken either a job in the AHL or one as an assistant coach and prove he deserves another job. He sorta seems like a crybaby to me.

Plus Sather and Muckler are old friends. I doubt Sather gives him a job.

I also would like to throw my hat in the ring. I'd love the Rangers job. And with my recent fantasy hockey success, I'd say I'm more qualified as having done anything coaching related in the past five years.

I thought when he lost out to Trottier he was the guy they wanted. but Sather wants to keep all the assistant coaches and Nolan wanted his own people and that was the reason the Rags decided to go with Trottier instead...
Maybe things changed for either sides...

Ted Nolan is a perfect fit for the Rangers. Mark my words if the Rangers hire him they will be back in the playoffs within two years.

why does he need to work in the AHL or be an assistant to prove he deserves another job?

Do u feel he was a bad coach, or not ready to handle an NHL team?

And what makes him a crybaby?

He was offered the Lightning job but turned it down.

He did not have to go to the AHL to get back to the NHL.

If he was such a "GOOD" coach he would have had a job in the last few years with all the coaching turnaround. Looks good on him turning down the TB job.

Why? Because that's the way the system works. You have to take *any* job, stay in the active system, to have a shot at the next coaching job that opens up.

A long delay, especially for *seven years* like Nolan, literally means that there are *hundreds* of players in the league that he is unfamiliar with. Rules he has no experience with.

Why is the man so damn proud that he'd rather sit at home, than take an assistant's job?
