NHL Center Ice Question

I'm thinking about buying NHL center ice for the season but I'd like to know if blackouts still apply?

Last night I was viewing the NHL center ice information channel on my dish and I read that blackouts may still apply. I live in Montreal and the main reason I want to get it is to watch every Oilers games....

I don't plan on paying over 150 bucks and then having half the games blackout.

They'd only be blacked out if they were on another channel in Montreal. Like if the Oilers are playing on CBC then the game won't be on Centre Ice & you would just watch the game on CBC instead.

It will be blacked out on Sportsnet West in Montreal though.

Yes I know for sure. I have NHL Centre Ice to watch the Bruins games and the only time they're not on NHL Centre Ice is when the game on TSN, TSN2, Sportsnet Ontario, LeafTV or CBC, depending on who is carrying that particular game.
It's usually only when they're playing Toronto that the game isn't on NHL Centre Ice.

You're pretty lucky this year. If you get NHl Ci, you will get every PPV game FREE. That's 16 games right there and pays for your NHl CI. You will get every other game as well.

Like the other poster said, if the Oilers game is on TSN, CBC, or SNET EAST in your area, you just watch the game on those channels.

You WILL get every SNET West broadcast.

On NHL Centre Ice but the actual Local Sportsnet West Channel (in Montreal) will black out the game.

Yup. I should have been more clear there. Overall OP, you have nothing to worry about.

It's very worth it for you, especially because there are so many games on PPV that you will get.
