I'm watching the game with headphones on and the woosh sound effects on that Coyotes graphic about gave me a heart attack....

I was hoping they would sorta come out and do the old 'road game' weather the storm thing then make a charge in the later periods. The pressure of the Coyotes in the kings zone was excellent from around 14:00 to 10:00 capped off by that 2 on 1.

Yep, he hasn't annoyed me yet but I'm just happy to be watching the Coyotes so ask again in 3 months.

Fiddler did good on the kill with a couple of dumps and a decent scoring chance by ML and Upshall

Yup, he got the job after Pang decided to leave our mess of a franchise. He's been doing radio the past couple seasons, he was really bad. Hopefully he gets better, he's a likable guy.

Whoo! Great goal!

Just want to throw this out there for my fellow non-AZ resident fans, there's a stream of the game up on Yahoo if you want to watch the game.

Upshall with a great effort to breakaway and just had that puck tipped off his stick before crashing into the net.

Yeah, he doesn't sound too bad. He doesn't really have a professional voice, but he avoids sounding stupid and/or cliche.

Good game thus far. The team looks way better than what I saw from them at the end of last season.

I like the way our guys are playing. We look quick, and our defense isn't allowing any easy shots on net. For our first game we look pretty damn good.

Greene knocked it in, but I'll take it.

Wow... Lombardi just went around that guy like a pylon. Kings announcers are impressed

Matt Greene knocked that in. Counts all the same. Let's go COYOTES!

I was a little weary, I thought we looked sloppy at first imo, but after Vrbatas goal we've seem to calm down and become a little more solid.

Yeah, the Yotes didn't get off to a good start, but they quickly turned that around.

Judging by the replay, I think Lombardi will get the goal.

2 goals in the first period, I'll take that every game. We must have one of the fastest teams in NHL, Lombardi got up the ice in 3 seconds. Good 1st Yotes, keep it up.

Good first period by the boys, hopefully they can keep up the pressure over the next two.
