The only thing that sucks about this game is listening to the verbal diahrrea of John Garrett.

"The reason why Cody Hodgson had a bad camp and was sent back to junior is because the canucks are deep at center"....

Could it be that Sacco actually has a plan?

This kills me because I really liked Granato as a player but damn...he sure couldn't get anyone to play like he used to. This is only 1 game a partial period into the new season but it appears that Sacco has the team playing like...well, a team...where folks know what their job is at any given time.

Way to early to lay too much praise on Joe at this point, but I'm liking what I've seen so far from him and his team's performance on ice.

The Avs are getting dominated. It's only a matter of time before Vancouver puts one home.

Cumiskey is worthless. He just stood right in front of Anderson, and didn't move for like 40 sec. while Vancouver was moving the puck all over right in front of him.

Stastny and Hejduk brilliant. Wolski got the goal from being in the right place at the right time once again, I hope this is going to be a big year for him!

I know the rest of the season will not always go like this but damn...has this not been nearly 4 periods of play that makes you realize why you still love the AVs after enduring last season?

I think Sacco, Deader and Konowalchuk have found Wolski's on-switch and got him to realize what it will take for him to be succeed. Here's to hoping he keeps it up!

man duchene is fast, it almost seems like the rink is just a little too small for him though, he doesn't try to finish until it's too late
