the one where Phoenix got a goal based on an auto-goal, and where Quick let in a softie.

Other than the powerplay, the Kings pretty clearly controlled the game.

That Williams shot from the right side boards looked like it hit the inside post... did anyone see replays? That was awfully close to being a goal.

Seems like the Kings D is being caught flatfooted out there. They got burned twice for it, three times if you count Greene's poke check save on the breakaway.

Exactly, what they need to do is gain the zone and crash the net.

Dump in chase is exactly what the Kings shouldn't be doing. Hurray for ****** hockey by the Kings.

They were 4 for 15 on the faceoffs - not exactly a sign of game control

Maybe you missed where Phoenix won 11 of 15 faceoffs and had 2 breakaways.

Welp, there is still a lot of hockey left, let's make up for lost time in the second. Let's get a comeback going! That is one thing this team should be good at.

I'm just waiting for this "new and improved" Kopitar management and the coaching staff talked about all summer. I expect nothing less than a true #1C performance this year, every game, every period.

So many four letter words to describe what happened during the first period... Too bad none can get past the filter...

You're not surprised about them pointing out how much we have sucked on faceoffs in a ****** first period?
