3) Kaberle played well infront of Toskala, but thinks Gusty can do everything, so he doesn't have to come back to play defence.
Im not saying the SEL is similar to the NHL, but its one of the top 5 leagues in the world.
I'm not high, you may be blind though, I agree that the last goal (of Beauch's foot) he could have done nothing about, but he has not looked very good. The Morrison goal he didnt come out enough and the first Semin goal he lost his positioning.

And one defencemen (especially one consider an offensive defencemen), does not change the fact that are defencemen played like turd in front of Tosk too.

This team would've been great (decent)pre-lockout.

At least this gives Wilson the opportunities to implement some new strategies he may want to use for the future, that he could not do if this was a tight game.

Strachan was just saying that the Canucks are really upset about Burke "tampering" and aren't going to let this go. Apparently this is the third time the Canucks thought the Leafs were tampering.

I assume Wilson's comments about the Sedins was one, but I'm not sure what the other is.

Well, the only way the Leafs will make me mildly happy is that if we score at least 2 goals and obviously shut the door in the third.

Bad game for sure... but it's time to move on.

hehe that's actually kind of funny, have some tea...

okay - so hopefully in this third period, they remember to SHOOT UP ON THE GOALIE.
[and dude - I expect a Brian Burke tirade. he looks cheesed]

I wish the Leafs had some power forwards on the team. Seems like the only size is on the 4th line. All the other nine forwards seem like there getting pushed around.

Whats really strange is all these breakaways, there is absolutely no excuse.

Maybe the first couple of times but really? You didn't learn your lesson after 2 Goals?

And Mayers needs to learn how to piss of a team. Hack at Varlamov!

The most exciting part of this game was the hot stove discussion.

I've never seen Ron actually look legitimate mad.

Man has Komisarek looked brutal, on the bright side Stempniak has looked good, Stalberg looks like the real deal, and Grabovski has looked dangerous at times.

I agree.

We are definitely missing Antropov more than I thought upfront. He would make a lot of room in the o-zone.

All of our defense outside of Kaberle have looked out of place.

I really like the Stempniak, Mitchell, Wallin line as well.

Stalberg has been silent tonight but he will pick it up.

Top 5, but NOWHERE CLOSE TO THE NHL..

Blind, yep, cause I haven't watched all 40 minutes thus far, and seen everything...3rd goal he had 0 chance...Semin's goal was the line itself, not playing their positions, Semin had time to drive to the corner store, open up some pull-it lottery tickets, come back and have a chance on, and Morrison's goal, once again defence, but he should have had it..He has looked 100% better than Toskala, hes made saves that Toskala would have let in due to his small stature..

One defenceman, but OUR BEST DEFENCEMAN..The one guy who has played well up until period 2
