LOL at people saying they were right about Price and that he's God.

He's been excellent in the first 2 games, absolutely no doubt about that and I sure hope it will continue.

But, please stop acting like he played a whole year like that.

They look like a bunch of beer drinking guys around a pub table out there... The funniest about it is that they're actually being paid for doing this.

Bergy actually said that he hopes that Guillaume will have at least one chance this year on the 2 first lines because he never had one...

People have to stop looking at the stats...Yeah Buffalo had 37 shots but 1/3 of those shots were quality ones.

Plekanec looks totally different compared to last year, he's been playing excellent defensively and is going in the corners and taking hits to make plays. I would like to see D'Agostini tried with him and Kostitsyn next game on the second line to try and wake Kostitsyn up, I love Pacioretty but he just isn't ready yet and should be sent down.

Might as well give him a shot. He can't be any worse than Pac or AK.

He's a beast. The contract is obviously big money, but I don't give a **** about that if a players plays well it means nothing. It's never the players fault for how much money they are making, they just took the offer. Gio has been fearless so far and I love what he's shown even all through preseason and now when it counts.

If we can get 5 years of this Gionta every night we are in for a serious treat. What a player, and seems like he has all the qualities that I would want in a person wearing the CH as well.

Pleks is in gangsta mode. He's not shying away from anything, he's blazing into corners to dig out pucks or to throw a (relatively weak!) body check, but it's the effort that counts, not the result. I loved his Gaustad aggression "You are not skating through this way"

Kudos to Pleks for sure. Hope it keeps up.

Thanks!

He's as clutch as they come... I love him so far. The team still is gelling and many things are being tried right now, but the defensive play looked way better than most anticipated tonight without Markov, excluding the 1st period.

Gionta is a great, two-way guy who'll bring much more than offensive output to our lineup. He's not afraid of anybody.

Needs to start scoring if he wants to keep up a 35 goal pace !

Joking, I don't really expect anyone to thrive offensively if our PP is anemic without Markov.

Nope, looks about his normal self. Great at times, lazy and uninterested the rest.

So far this reminds me of last season. We were getting outplayed but winning the games early on. Then it caught up with us and the bottom fell out.

Don't remind me man... it was a tough pill to swallow... and I still believe this team deseprately needs a great player like Koivu... he just makes everybody around him play better.

Yea, I really want him to bounce back. But I'm really starting to get convinced that he only feels pumped when playing with his brother. Two seasons ago didn't really count s his brother wasn't supposed to be part of the team. Last year was good when the Kostitsyns played together with Lang up until Lang got injured and all those drama stories.

I really do want him to bounce back, but it just seems that if things go this way, he'll probably have to be packaged with his brother.

Come on Andrei, we've seen your magic before! Wake the **** up already!

Except last year it occurred because the team was not as good as some originally thought and this year it's happening because the team is entirely new.

Yup and guess what the similarities are? Lack of size up front, especially on the wing. There is a reason the Moen line is contributing, the opposition can't slow them down.

Throw in a lack of shots from the blueline, and its the same formula as last year. Martin isn't doing anything differently than Carbo, and this is going to be a problem unless they start playing a little bigger.

I hope he adjusts the system to allow for more cycling down low.
