Hemsky is still the best forward on the team, as long as that's true he'll have a place here.
In another arena, that might have counted as a hit. Every arena is different in what qualifies a hit. Same thing with giveaways and takeaways.

So many sobs stories on cp from people who were "at" the game. They make it sound like Oilers fans eat babies and kittens

If anything that gaffe is a positive. Brings the team closer (players come to Bulin's defence) and makes Khabibulin more determined to steal a few games....

Funny, because I thought the Flames fans were bad yesterday. Especially those in my section that spilled beer on the Oilers fans in front of them.

Gotta love Calgarians referring to Edmontonians as "rednecks". Coming from a fanbase in the most conservative city north of Texas and whose arena blasts "Dueling Banjos" on a regular basis that criticism rings so hollow! Honestly, no forum has as many stupid, stupid people as clowngarypuck. Most of those idjits must have been hit on the head with a cinderblock at some point in their miserable lives.

No. What needs to happen is The Goalie has to be told to take charge back there and be the eyes/ears/control tower for all the defencemen.

Its not uncommon for a new goalie to be a bit shy in how he handles the puck or talks with his D-men during a game.

I just think its a tad bush league it winds up going on / getting worse until it cost us a hockey game.

Pretty sure there will be plenty of chatter & game-type intensity on break out drills from now on.

no doubt, as someone who moved to alberta 4 years ago so I had no preconceived notions about either edmonton or calgary I can safely say that Calgary is so much more conservative and "backwards" if you will than Edmonton (for what it's worth i live in Calgary) I get a lot of chuckles watching the pissing contests between cities though, it's great fun.
