I know it's only 2 games, but Price is looking exceptional.

If you're getting good goaltending, you have a chance to win every single night. And honestly, Price is the reason we're 2-0-0 so far.

Hopefully he keeps it up, because we'll need it.

I've always said that Price needs to step his game one level up and steal us some games and he is finally doing this.

He's looking like a professional out there.. def. in the zone.

However, he hasn't exactly faced top level competition either.

JM better get his game plan in before Tuesdays game in Flames...

Otherwise they'll smoke us.

Yea Price has been solid.
But I think other players are shaping up real good too. We have a lot of potential rising up.

My main concern is A.K. and his performance on the 2nd line. I'm really starting to believe he wants to pay with his brother and his absence is affecting him. I mean, when you look at it. A.K. payed well two seasons ago when his brother didn't make it in the NHL yet. Last year, he played well with his brother and Lang. Once Lang fell and hell broke lose with his brother and the mob stories... His performances have been noticeably lacking. I want to keep believing he'll bounce back, but he looks unmotivated or has his mind elsewhere.

Other than A.K., the team is shaping up, slowly but steadily.

The biggest difference in Price's game so far as compared to last year:

He gets up from his knes much quicker
He doesn't over react as much as last year. Especially from side to side
He's much more focused and "game ready" mentally

This is the Price that we came to love and he's on a mission this year, don't be surprised if he's named to team Canada this year. I'm not joking, he's that focused!

i also really like what ive seen from him so far.

i noticed in the game last night that he wasnt going down nearly as fast or often, he was also getting back on his feet. he's also reading the play really well. i think it was a save on connolly on the pp when he flew across the crease, his read way exeptional, it looked like he used his instincts....

hes obviously gotten a bit lucky(posts and bounces) but he's looked good. hopefully he can keep it up all year.

honestly, melanson was a cancer. ****ing with the kid's natural style and trying to shape him into what he beleived a goalie should be, rather than working on accentuating his natural flow.

This is what happens when;

1) you play with confidence
and
2) you dont sit on your knees all the time.

Incredible stuff so far, I just hope he can keep his head in the game after a bad night.

Price will have a Theo (vezina+hart) season ?

If he steal most of the games i think he can make it, but it will be really hard to get Hart because of Ovechkin (he is on fire also...).

I think the most important thing is confidence. If he continues on this road.. Its going to be the best thing for him, and the fans.

Yes really. He was bad in per season, and sucked last year, so it's only common sence to assume he's not going to play good this season. I for one was a hater, I don't feel stupid I'm delightfully surprised.

I wasn't afraid about Carey, I knew he would rebound.

He started like this last year, he had difficulty after the all-star game when all the team struggled at the same time.

I'm sure is gonna have a very solid season. He's been incredible on the last 2 games.

The people that wanted to trade him for a pack of hockey sticks can resume calling him Jesus Price now.....
