HAHA sucker, that is pretty funny so it seems like it's sour grapes with him more than anything else...... His statements are so out there and his bias against the Oilers is so strong that you would assume that people speculated that he slept around while in Edmonton and that they burned his furniture too

Not sure why anyone would be surprised that Garrett is, has been, and always will be anti Oilers.

Oh that kind of tool. He reminds me of the kind of guy that would drop the "do you know who I am" line when things aren't going his way.

Well, those comments are absolutely ridiculous. No other way to put it.

That actually was no prank. Our starter got injured during the game and our backup was not 100%. Sather had to sign Garrett to a short term contract during the game. At intermission you got to see Garrett wearing the Oiler track suit instead of his suit.

Probably early 90's time frame.

Both positions have other men shooting stuff at their face

Well his obsession with reach-arounds is iconic.

(I saw the title while going to the Canucks board and laughed and had to comment. He is definitely a Canucks homer, no denying that.)

This guy has his nose right up Vancouvers a**.

Kelly Rhudey on the TEAM 1040 yesterday said he talked to Moss about the goal. Moss admitted that all he was trying to do was get a piece of the puck. He wasn't even trying to score. it just hit his stick right off Khabbys.

Now that's what we call lucky. And yes, he is a big tool.

John should have talked about the Colorado game. Vancouver was dominating Colorado. Mainly the Sedin line. They were just toying with them, but couldn't catch a break.

Shouldn't be speaking about your teams personnel in such an ill manner.

If you wonder where some of the Nuck fans get their pie in the sky opinions regarding their team, look no further than their media personalities, JG being a prime example.

Somebody else who wrote in this thread is right. He used to be a huge Flames homer when he was with them. Now he just gives the casual Canucks fan what they want to hear.

From what I remember, he was an Oilers homer when he worked for them.
