Wear the damn jersey, show your pride, I'll pay your cleaning bill if needed.

Or their old teal mighty duck sweaters!
Lol just wear the sweater..

I'm still working on that, but I'm thinking that AT&T Park might be a really good spot because there's a lot of parking around there when the Giants are off season.

Also, I need to find a good spot for San Jose too. Near public transit is good, lots of cheap/free parking is good. Room for a bus to pull in and park for awhile.

Why not the caltrain station across from the tank? Easy to find.Plenty of parking and room for a bus. Also people have the option to take the train to the bus pickup.

I'm going to check it out prior to the game tonight. Gotta make sure overnight parking is allowed

From Caltrain FAQ: All-day parking (24-hour limit) is available at most Caltrain stations for a nominal fee. Higher rates are charged at the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station during HP Pavilion events.
hmmmm.

and it's right at the tank, so that's kinda cool leaving from HP.
if that turns out to not working out for whatever reason, you could do Sharks Ice perhaps.

Duck/Duck Fan Irritation Ideas (some realistic, so not so much):

Of course the ole San Jose tradition of yelling HEY DUCKS, YOU SUCK prior the national anthem, but we have to be loud and clearly say DUCKS so no one confuses it with "Sharks" (same number of syllables and same ending sound).

Blue Glow Sticks or glow in the dark painted posterboard held up to spell DUCKS SUCK when the lights are dimmed prior to the anthem.

We'll have the entire three front rows of several sections. We can create very large, very long, and very readable signs that we can carry in individually and then piece together.

If anyone has an old worn out or messed up really big Sharks jersey, we can cut it up the back and tape it on the stupid Wild Wing statue out in from of the Pond for a group photo with all of us.

Smuggle in a few really small battery-powered iPod high-power speakers, hook up an iPod, and play the Jaws noises when the Sharks go on the Power Play.

If we get enough people, we could have SJ Sharkie at the San Jose stop for some photos. We'd probably do donations and/or auction the stuff in the Party Pack to cover the cost.

S.J. Sharkie Party Visit:
Would you like S.J. Sharkie to make a surprise visit to your party? This is perfect for those times when you just want S.J. Sharkie to stop by to brighten someone's day. (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Birthday, etc.) This visit includes:
-Minimum 15 minutes of Sharkie interaction at your event.
-A Gift package ($75 value) which may include any of the following limited edition items:, A San Jose Sharks Official Game Puck, a Sharks Rubik’s Cube, a S. J. Sharkie Bobble Head, Sharks Baseball cap, Sharks 3D photo frame, mini Shark Head and/or a limited edition plush SJ Sharkie Beanie Cap. Requests for specific items can not be honored.
-Autograph Cards

Your visit must be scheduled a minimum of 2 business days prior to the desired date, and is first come -- first served.
Please request your Party Visit with our on-line form.
Cost: $125

Just put down my deposit for 2 seats on the bus and tickets. It would be cool if you could add a counter to the web page so we can see how many people are signed up.

Thanks again for setting this up. I am really looking forward to it.

Food for thought. They make you empty your pockets and you get the metal detector. Its not like the Tank where you can just walk in. Its lame. I drop my camera every time because my hands are full.

Yeah, I was there last weekend, but they didn't really do anything to me, probably because I quite normal -looking compared to all the ducks fans!

The "You Suck" thing is after you say the team's city, not the name of the team. By yelling "Hey Anaheim," there shouldn't be any confusion.

I find that bringing items (posters/noise makers) into arenas as a visiting fan is not easy to achieve. LA took a bunch of our non-offensive posters. And as someone mentioned, Anaheim is pretty crazy with their hand held metal detectors. I'd love to sneak a drum in there.

Yeah, duh, you're right. With as many games as I've been to over the years, you'd think I'd get that right

What ever we do, I think making sure there is teal everywhere is a must. I like the glow stick idea. If the sharks get a hatty...throw the glowsticks in. Obviously teal glowsticks.

I can buy some of those fried ducks hanging upside down in store fronts at Chinese markets. If we don't feel like being too stupid by launching that on the ice...main course at the tailgate?

Hey Nbs, do you have a count on how many from sf so far. Another good pick up place is sports basement in crissy field has lots of parking.
