There's an obvious double standard. O'Brien is still being crucified for his comments last season, though he does have a history of being unhappy with his given role.

Well normally the forwards/defense don't criticize the goalie and the goalie doesn't criticize the forwards/defense.

But given the number of times Luongo has made comments about his team and their unability to defend/score goals, I guess he doesn't subscribe to it. You rarely hear goalies criticize the rest of their team to the media.

You hear forwards and defencemen say the exact same things Luongo's saying when asked for why a goal went in. Oversensitive hockey "fans" only jump on Luongo because they take it like he's attacking his teammates when he's just telling it like he sees it.

People CRUCIFIED Naslund for his answers as Captain. Luongo states his opinion and little baby Canuck fans can't handle it. The players certainly can handle it because they love the guy.

No ****. You earn a certain right given your spot on the team to be treated differently and to say certain things. That's the way it should be.
