The little I saw of him, he didn't look that bad.

The fact is that MAB wouldn't be able to replace Markov, no one can. But, once Markov come back MAB could actually be an incridible addition to the PP with limited ice time. But, what's the matter right... I should just faceplam myself...
Don't worry buddy, i got your back.

Were you guys not watching our first 2 games ? How the flip is adding MAB to this mix going to improve this. 60 shots a game maybe ?

We have someone to play the PP shot with Weber. They have the same type of game except Weber can actually play D.
We added Mara and Gill and with Hammer, we have enough shutdoen D-men. Our problem is that Martin's system isn't well executed yet.

Also, we are missing Markov who is, imo, one if not the best defenceman in the league to get the puck out of his zone. Getting a puckmover is actually what we are missing the most.

Hammer and Spacek can, but they play on the same line.

As for all the MAB haters, he would be the exact copy of last year Schneider, but I guess they can't see it.

Schneider was way too slow and extremely bad defensively, but he was pure gold beside Markov on the PP.

But for some reason, on HF, the equation is Quebecer = overrated = useless.

I still prefer that they give Weber a chance, but MAB would a very good option and would be perfect with Markov on the PP, when he comes back.
Oh god will you guys just shut up with the french victim crap?

It's so funny that you bring up Schneider because when we got him, everyone was *****ing and moaning about how terrible he was and how bad a move it was.

Was that english discrimination? Seems like a whole lot of francophones weren't too happy with him...Maybe it's anti-semitism.

So, you'd rather give a shot to an unproven AHLer (Weber, or, COUGHCOUGH Henry ? WTF), than getting a cheap PP canon bandaid ? Weber, imo, looks like to be NHL ready, but I have doubts in his defensive awareness and coverage, and his physicality as well. I have not been impressed by Weber in the training camp, nor Carle. Those guys sure needs more NHL ice to prove themselves, though. But are we wanting to take that risk ?

These injuries have lit a fire under Bob's ass. Promoting a rookie or signing MAB... Tough question...

EDIT : NVM he's already signed... I guess Bob or JM didn't like weber too much at the training camp...

750k, I think it's a great signing... even if I hate the fact that we wouldn't give Weber a real chance to earn a spot.

But a Markov-MAB PP in 4 months will be as good as a Markov-Streit/Souray/Schneider one.

Who said that Quebecer = overrated = useless?

MAB is known to have defensive deficiencies, even before any sort of rumor of him coming to Montreal. Since when does this = Quebecer hate? Don't trun an argument that has nothing to do with discrimination into a Quebec hate to prove your point. If you truely believe that your argument is right then don't hide behind the Quebecer hate bs.

Appropriate, as he's probably 10 times better.

For the record, at 750k I think it's a great move. I love Bergeron's shot, it's absolutely lethal, and I think he'll really work under Martin's system.

HOLY ****ING ****! MAB for 750k!? High Way Robbery! I would have been happy with something like 1.5-1.7 mil. BUT 750k?! **** son. Thats incredible. I'm very happy with this signing, i wanted MAB from JULY 1st, but wasn't heartbroken when we didn't sign him. I always liked him, but now at his contract its just wow.! GJ BOB!

The truth hurts doesn't it?

Go back to the archives and see if I was angry at this pick-up. You'll see that I was a supporter from Day one.

Don't insinuate things that are not.
