Haven't checked the numbers, but like what I'm seeing on the faceoffs again.

Does Jovo know how to receive a pass?

Other than that, the team is looking pretty good.

Tippett is bringing some hockey fondamentals back into this team. Clear the puck via the boards, enter the offensive zone with speed, outwork the opponent. I am enjoying this but the teams needs to capitalise on the opportunities.

concerning faceoffs: is it normal in the NHL that players get sent off the faceoff and another player has to take it? I saw that happen against the kings and it has happened today, too

We are drawing lots of penalties. We need to capitalize again.

Yeah I was starting to get worried. Had they continued to waste chances I was afraid the pens would come out in the 3rd and blow them out.

Pretty common. Don't know the exact figures but I'd guess 10-15% of the time.

I agree! A team is supposed to always score on a double minor, major, 5 on 3 PP'.
A team can get away with not always scoring 5 on 4 but it will hurt you if you see to many chances like this in a game and you don't score on any.

Good to see we got 2 PP goals tonight.

Wow Pens just put the puck in the net but no goal due to a penalty. Sweet. They are killing themselves.
