Which is exactly what I said when the trade was made. He was playing the #2 role(minutes wise) in LA on a solid defensive team. Smyth is a bottom tier 1st liner/good 2nd liner with average speed and average defensive awareness. Getting a top pairing defenseman for him is a GREAT trade.

Started liking it after first two game of the season. He just works better with this team. Smyth was often left alone by us last year when he jumped up on the offensive zone. Quincey is just ...right there.... almost all the time

Nice job by Cumiskey. Instead of getting it out of there, he tries to give the puck to Anderson, atleast I think thats what he was doing. And that leads to the goal.
