I think there's a new punching bag for the board. Why you'd choose the captain I don't know. 1 second the rest of us are praising him, the next someone's picking him apart.

Williams, Smyth, Kopitar! Godliness! Trio all gets a point there.

Our first line is just clicking right now, awesome.

I can't wait for the future when Brownie and Kopi continue to soak up the way Smyth plays.

Didn't think so.

The best thing about all of this is that we're doing all our damage the last 2 games 5 on 5. That didn't happen all year long last season.

Wow, the Wild look out of it. That can be dangerous. The Kings may begin to lull around and then the Wild find their legs in the net period or so... They need to keep skating hard a full 60 this time!

Wow!!! This is awesome!!!

Two thoughts I've had tonight:

1. Ryan Smyth was meant to be here. He started helping us two years ago when he ****ed up LaBarbara's ribs.

2. The Kings ****ing the bed in the first game may have been the best possible first game result for them. They come in thinking they've worked real hard and will just be better only to get slapped in the face and realize that they still need 100% all the time, every game - regardless of how much extra work you put in over the offseason.
