Yep, looks like Boychuk and Sutter also have 2 assists and 1 assist, respectively. Terry has an assist as well. All around good night for the organization so far.

It looks like Albany has a pretty lethal power play. That's 3 PP goals for the Rats tonight.

Haha this is awesome. There are few teams that I enjoy seeing us hammer more than Florida.

Wohooo. Good game, excellent results. I'm happy for Roddy and Harrison (his first goal in NHL). Two twings i don't like - no Staal on score sheet and we let goal on PP again. Every game so far opposite team scores on PP. Solid game. Albany wins too, Boychuk dominates, Terry scores.

I like this.

Actually there are no teams that I enjoy smoking better than them. I would be thrilled if they didn't win another game this season...

Man, where the hell did this offense come from? I mean, yeah, the first 4 goals were pretty much handed to us (two on a breakaway and two literally handed to us), but the last 3 were just great shots. Cullen ringing off that post was something to behold.

Alberts had an off and on game. The penalties he took were completely unnecessary, but he laid a couple good hits in the 3rd.

Mostly, I was surprised there wasn't a fight in this game. A 7-2 blowout, between two teams that don't like each other, and some definite squabbles going on.

checking in from central TX. wonderful game! i saw LOTS of positives tonight. not many negatives. nice scoring depth. guess its nice to get the whole team involved in scoring on a night that Staal can't seem to get on the sheet. as tripp said, wardo played a deceptively involved game. the fact that they only scored 2 was a testament to his growing skill. will definitely be nice to get Pitkanen back whenever he does get back (hopefully tomorrow?) but overall the defense looked pretty solid to me tonight. hope those of you who got to go enjoyed it! still looking for a chance to get some leave time from the army to get up to dallas to see a stars game. going to try HARD to get to the Canes game out here next month, but not sure if that will even happen.

GO CANES!

The PP is the PP. The sooner you accept it's going to fail, the easier it is to ignore.

Technically speaking, we're 0 for this season. The only two PP goals we've gotten, we've scored in a non-PP manner. A breakaway by Jokinen, and Staal stealing the puck and doing it himself.

Excellent way of putting it.

From now on when we score on the PP it's - "We have a PP?"

And when we dont (as you wisely put it BB) - "The PP is the PP. The sooner you accept it's going to fail, the easier it is to ignore."

Perfect.

Send a message via ICQ to dmonk
and the stats when Conboy is on are getting better and better.

Tim was just great tonight, he finished his hits and was really getting under the skin of Panthers players.
Right now, he is a perfect on the 4th line and in overal 4th line was really good tonight.

We need to start another Wallin for Norris petition and, hopefully, he won't get hurt again... (yes yes... he will... any time now)

The only player who sucked tonight was Samsonov. With exception of his tape to tape pass he was pretty useless and counterproductive the rest of the game.

I am not putting my rose colored glasses quite yet. Florida looked jet lagged after spending a month in Europe. I can't wait to see what kind of performance we show tomorrow in Tampa.

We have two PKs. The Penalty Kill and the Power Kill.

Other then that I'm thrilled with tonights game and there aren't many negatives to come away with from this one. Though the sooner Joni is back and healthy the better.
