Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

From the Sun:

--------------------------------------
AROUND THE RINK

It'll be a busy off-season at the chapel for the Oilers as Horcoff, Brewer, Conklin and Marty Reasoner will be getting married this summer ...
--------------------------------------

I'll bet that's going to be one WILD bachelor party.

Make that FOUR WILD bachelor parties.

imho - it's a good thing.
A girlfriend tends to mess with a man's focus.
A wife should understand the plusses of supporting her man's focus.

Yeah, I guess it could be four if they don't decide to have one big megabash.

You're right, they SHOULD understand that. Now if I could only get my wife to read the memo on this...

If she sees plusses for her (that's your job ), she won't need a memo.
Remember... when Mama's happy, everybody's happy.

Brewer's quite the ladies man in Edmonton. When Mike Comrie was there all the girls used to go crazy for Mike. Now he's gone and Eric's all the sudden the most eligible bachelor in Edmonton. It'll be crazy seeing all the girls find out that he's getting married. hahahaha

Do you honestly think that when they are on the road, hockey players are fully committed to their wives?? I sure don't

This is the NHL, not the NBA. There are no groupies in the NHL. Just slutty hockey chicks but even they wont put out. UI say they're all faithful.

That's a good one! :lol

Find me one NHLer who's never made it with a groupie and I'll tell him he's a liar. Some guys might be better husbands than others, but I think when these mice are away, they play something fierce.

And I don't feel too sorry for their wives because I think they're cut from the same cloth that the groupies are cut from.

That's a little unfair.. If I were an NHLer I'd be faithful. What's to say that these guys are any different?

Though I HAVE heard some wild stories about the Blackhawks (all through a guy who hung out with them via Mark Bell) but none of them were married.
