We can be fans of the team or fans of the players, I don't fault the team for the moves they made because of player's demands. Once a player chooses that option there is almost no going back on it. If we would have made concessions for Roy I could live with it, he is a Super Star. SK or Mike Ribiero not so much.

I'm not sure how many of you know anything about the NFL.. But Marshall their #1 WR played like crap in the pre-season, batted passes down during practice and asked for a trade. He was suspended the rest of the pre-season, and now is THEIR main target and preformer.. Age has a huge thing to do with it IMO, their young and their heads are filled with the me me me mentality, once the situation cools and cooler head can sit and talk about what's going on, I believe this whole thing will be swept under the rug, maybe forgiven but not forgotten!! Sergei is most likely used to getting his own way and the fact of the new team and coach and system, is only making him feel less important then he really is. Some players can jump into scoring roles right away, whereas MOST need to pay their dues in the minors until they learn what it really takes to get the best out of their abilities.. IMO Sergei just needs to learn to slowdown and let everything sink in, once he learns the importance of TEAM first hockey, IMO he will become what we all expect him to be, but until then he will be plyinh his trade on the bottom 6 and in Hamilton.. Maybe the fact that Patches is up with the big club right now when he isn't ready is playing on Kosties mind as well.. Only time will tell..
And as for the Lightning, pass thanks, it sounded like there was good dialogue there but with Tampa friggin that situation up, they can rout with what they.
But we have to remember also that the draft isn't just 2 rounds long, the scouts earn their money from the later rounds when jems can be found, Zetterberg and Datsyuk anyone?
