Congratulations I applaud you. Our GDT's need to be this good all the time!
Keys to victory.
-Atrain's victim needs to be Kovulchuk (he's 2-0 in hit list so far)
-Line 1 and 2 need to figure it out.
-Line 3 and 3a keep doing what they've done.
-Elliot plays like he can play.
-Rookies must keep it simple.
I get why people from out of town are scrounging for a stream but all you cheapskates who live in Ottawa out there have no reason to complain. GO TO THE GAME. There are a bunch of tickets left at a a bargain price. GO SEE SOME LIVE HOCKEY. Maybe you'll learn a thing or two. Its terribly obvious that some posters only watch the games on TV and miss a lot of what actually happens during games.
Exactly!
And I'll be there
PS:I say A-Train's claims another rookie victim. Probably Evander Kane.

Kovalchuk is scary, when Lehtonen comes back and plays to his potential , Atlanta will do some damage. Hopefully Spezza will have a big game tonight, he needs to make a statement... this is your team now Spezz , show us what you got
Im still curious as to what the heck is going on in Atlanta that their local sports station would not have the game on TV.
College Football. What the heck is Ottawa showing instead of the Senators? I got NHL Center Ice to ensure I caught Thrashers game not broadcast locally. I thought this one would be on for sure.

CBC controls the broadcast rights of NHL games in Canada on Saturday nights. So, if the CBC is not going to cover/broadcast the game, no one else in Canada can (ie: TSN or CTV or even SensTV). This agreement is in place until 2014 at the moment.
I see Alfredsson is the only one man enough to move around the lines without raising a stink. Also the only one with a ***** the size of Pisa, with the same lean.
On behalf of my fellow Thrashers fans, good luck to Ottawa tonight and all of this season as Atlanta and Ottawa battle for the, as one of our posters called it, the Not-Good-Enough-For-Heatley Cup.

Now that is funny! I love it. Common ground for both teams for sure.

lol, nice one. I gotta say your team looks pretty damn good this year, here's to a good game.
tickets can be had for cheap right outside SBP, I was walking up on Thursday and I headr one scalper tell another they 4 tickets for $60. 4 tickets for $60!! You can even move down the 300's on the ends.
Has everyone complaining about the lack of the Sens game tonight written or emailed or called CBC? It helped last year in getting a few games that weren't scheduled to be put on TV.
Go to CBC.ca and at the bottom of the page click on Contact Us. Send a complaint.
If nothing else at least you can vent at the idiots that decided the Sens aren't important enough to be telecast on a Saturday night. Complete and total morons. No wonder CBC is going down the tubes.
Not everyone is a Leaf fan, let it be known. I did.

Stop making stuff up. Sportsnet will be covering the Sat game vs the Bruins on Jan.23, and as far as i'm concerned, they may cover more.

That is the first and so far only game that has played on a Saturday that was not either broadcast by the CBC or more likely shut out completely by the CBC who do have the Saturday rights.
Last year they permitted a few Saturday games by Edmonton and Clagary on Sportsnet;Jan 23 is the first one ever for Ottawa.
Most of the remaining games that are not scheduled for coverage are Saturday games where the CBC holds the rights and has not permitted another company to broadcast and have decided that they either don't want to do it or have not decided yet to do so.
Lots of emails to the CBC might help convince them.

Go boys !
I wouldn't hold your breath on Lehtonen's return. I think he's on his way out in Atlanta; this is Pavelec's team at the moment (and he's looking good in the meantime).
Here's to a good game, that none of us get to see.

He's not making stuff up. That game is a 1pm start time, CBC hold's the rights for games at night. I believe CBC started allowing other networks to show Saturday afternoon games on their latest contract. If that was a 7pm start, if it wasnt on CBC, we'd be sol (locally, NESN would have it)
