Well I'll be there.
Parking is probably going to be a nightmare.

I don't see Sauer listed on the injury portion but this:
http://www.azcentral.com/sports/coyo...esadvance.html

Says he underwent testing today.

Get there early and enjoy it. Not knowing the future sucks, but if prospective buyers have watched the first couple of games, they have to be salivating. I saw that Ice Edge has come to an agreement with Glendale. Hope it's true. Play hard boys and make us PROUD!!!!!!!

I hope the players understand how important it is that they bring their A game tonight. Laying an egg in front of a packed house has happened waaaay to many times in the past, they just can't afford to do that anymore. There will be a lot of noobs and casual fans in attendance, you're not going to win them over with a lackluster performance. I'm hoping Tippet has them ready and hungry!

The playoff whiteouts were a sight to behold, the atmosphere is going to be amazing. If this doesn't motivate potential buyers to get something done, nothing will. I can't wait!

This should be a winnable game. Columbus has some nice forwards in Nash, Brassard, and Voracek, but I'm not sure that team can skate with the Yotes.

By the way, kingbrutis, please put your comments below what you quote. Not trying to moderate, it's just a pet peeve of mine.

I am, unfortunately, stuck going to the Devils - Panthers game tonight.... Good seats, 8th row up. But, I will most likely miss the first period of the yotes game which is no bueno! I'll be rooting for us until I get home and crank my center ice and watch the whiteout in all it's glory.

Yes, please make some extra noise in the arena on behalf of the guys overseas! I really wish I was there too but I hope to catch a stream somewhere.

Sadly, Center Ice (at least on DirecTV) still hasn't picked up the HD feed.

Is Vrbata playing on one of the top 2 lines? IF so who are his linemates?

Good luck to the Yotes this year! A Sens'fan with a soft spot for them!

He had been playing with Hanzal and Prucha. I'm not sure if that was a top 2 line or not. I also understand Prucha is out for this game. I'm not sure how that will affect the lines.

It would be extremely appropriate on his 33rd birthday.

I always kind of dreamed that he was saving that for a game seven, en route to our first playoff series victory ever.

I'll be around, I couldn't make it back to the opener this year. Which of all the openers this is the one I shouldn't have missed! haha

Although doing in front of 18,000 fans in white wouldn't be so bad either.

He hit the post on an empty netter last year against Columbus. I wouldn't mind seeing the hats rain down in the season opener.

I say the combination of both would be better. Course that would mean having to secure a top seed

Prucha Update
Quote:
Prucha attended Friday's practice but he didn't skate.

"He had a little bit of a headache this morning so we kept him off (the ice)," Head Coach Dave Tippett said after Friday's practice at the Alltel Ice Den in Scottsdale. "We'll re-evaluate him tomorrow."
That's the last update I can find. It's not certain, but if he was having headaches and was held out of practice yesterday, I'd guess he isn't playing. At least, he probably shouldn't be playing.
