Tough goal. That was a "Clear the crease" moment. When I played crease defense in Lacrosse and I heard that heads would be rolling.

Wow Sloan pulled a Schultz on that one. Got lucky the Detroit guy missed the goal.

Green's pass was behind him a bit...made him shoot right too much.

Credit where it's due. That was a hell of a save.

I was going to watch that game, since I can't get the Caps game, but there is no way I can stomach how many hours the announcers creaming over Crosby.

" Oh baby, did you see how Crosby took that pass off his skate"

"Yes, not too many people in the world can take a puck off the skate while going full speed."

" With 0 points tonight I think Crosby has been the best player with the most jump tonight."

Then they will show us a video of his before game ritual how he gets focus, and his little dance he does before the game.

Like if I have to watch that garbage all game I'll be even more sicker then I already am.

Well that's my novel on why I will not watch that game tonight. Just Coach's Corner I want to hear with Cherry has up his sleeve tonight.

I like how Semin just kills the last 20 seconds of the PP.

No urgency.

I wish someone would explain what's up with Ovechkin.

It was a good save, sure. But Ovi shot it right back into his pads. If it was anywhere on the far half of the net Ozzi wouldn't have had a chance.

Hey I just learned something new. They just explained why Detroit fans throw octopus on the ice. Never knew the exact reason, and yes this is further proof that I am Hockey ignorant. But I am trying.

I kinda wish Hartnell bit his little fingers off. Something about Letang, he really annoys me.

haha, even Don Cherry made fun of Letang tonight.

And they showed a clip in that Pen/Flyer game where MAF tried stealing Hartnells stick, it was pretty funny.

I asked this in the earlier posts, I'll ask again, hows OV looking?

Green with a turnover behind his net. Was last year the exception not the rule?

Ovie looks decent to me. I don't see where the talk of him nursing an injury comes from. He's shooting more tonight, FWIW.

People like to forget, he led all defensemen in goals the year before last as well.

Hopefully he has a couple of goals in him tonight.

Or maybe a goal from our blue line by Backstrom maybe?

Well in regards to me, I forget a lot when it comes to Hockey, but Green just doesn't look confident to me. Or maybe he is feeling the pressure of duplicating what he did last year. Just seems off.
