Wow the first star April 9th was Monty. Oh how things change. I'd love to see Hanzal continue his strong play, think I'm gonna go vote for him again in the goal of the game contest. Also want to see Korpikoski back in the line up.
Bryz will need to be strong and hopefully the guys will bring their speed and are ready to play. Sharks are a bit slower than last year without Michalek and Ehrhoff (Marleau is at top form right now though which is scary) so I hope we can exploit that.
Agree with Sniper that Korpikoski needs to be back in there and I'd like to see Boedker with more minutes tonight as well.
Bissonnette was the ONLY guy who got the crowd excited with a few hits. I thought Vany was a tougher guy than he is showing here. The Blue jackets had no fear of going in the corner to get the puck. They knew they wernt gona get laid out. I'm not sure what the personality of the team is yet. It looks like we are trying be a very skill full team minus most of the skill. I know it takes time.
who's time do you propose cutting to give Boeds more? It can't be Biss as they are on the same line.
They were on a line for one game. Bissonnette's only game. Bissonnette and Boedker are not tied at the hip. Personally, I'd really like to see the Coyotes try the much suggested line of Boedker, Lombardi and Upshall.
Yes, the line needs to be Upshall,Lombardi & Boedker, Mueller is always trailing the play, so how effective can his passing and getting into the right position to use "great" wrister when he's always behind the play.
Playing Mueller with Doan has always been a good pairing and adding Lang should only enhance Mueller's opportunities. Boedker is a waste on the Doan/Lang line and adding him to the speed line I think would open up a greater number of odd-man rushes
The only way to get Boedker more ice time is to either give him PP/PK time or Double shift Doan with Winnik and Boedker and sit Biss or korp (unlikely if korp is in the lineup). But that option isnt realistic when we have 8 powerplays in a game. They 4th line just doesn't have the opportunity to get shifts in when that happens.
I could possibly see Boedker stealing some of Upshall ice time, if upshall takes more bad penalties, or continues to not produce. He led the team in PP ice time...
Until Pyatt comes back, when I'd demote Korpikoski to San Antonio, insert Pyatt onto that fourth line, and leave Bissonnette as the healthy scratch.
I'll take that too. I also don't mind inserting Bissonnette now and then for limited minutes when appropriate. He didn't look completely out of place on the ice the way McGrattan did and from what I hear he can actually hold his own in a fight, unlike Fedoruk.
I can't pick sides on this match up and be a homer for either team as I would like since I like both the Coyotes and the Sharks!
Ill remain neutral but I do think tonight is going to be a goaltenders duel, low scoring, and goals scored off of defensman errors! Posted via Mobile Device

I'm very much in the same boat, but the Yotes could definately use and benefit from a win tonight more-so than the Sharks so I'm pulling for them all the way tonight.
