Latendresse.

I predict 40-50-100 season from him.

Cammalleri, IMO. Though I could easily see it being Gomez, whose game is more rounded.

I vote Gionta because he is good offensively and good defencively.

If you mean offense, I would say Kostitstn or Cammalleri. Kostitsyn has more raw skills but cammalleri works harder.

This poll makes me realize we do have an average team, with no real game-breaker anymore (yes, Kovalev was one).

I would say Cammalleri, even though he has struggled so far.

And yet... all three of the ninja smurfs are arguably better than Kovalev.

A.Kost shouldn't even be on that list right now.

Performance wise (thus far) it's been Gionta, hell maybe even Pleks... but I'm going with Cammalleri on this one. He'll find his groove once he stays on one damn line.

Why is Latendresse an option and why did 3 people vote for him?

Yes, probably. But Kovalev had the potential to be one of the best player in the league. And on some nights, he was.

I haven't seen that from any of the new forwards yet.

An hybrid of Kovalev and Gionta would give you something like Crosby or Ovechkin.
