Ward is in stable condidtion at local hospital the extent of his cut is unknown at this time.

Paul Maurice: Ward’s injury is “significant”, he will not return home due to potential problems with the pressure change on the plane.

Canes cant catch any breaks and I hope Ward's injury isn't something career or life altering

At some point even I feel bad for the former Whalers. And I definitely don't like seeing a stellar keeper like Ward go down. I hope he gets healthy again soon. Just awful luck.

The Diveacanes get no sympathy from me. Good teams play through injuries.

Hope they rot in the basement fro another 10 years.

I don't like seeing Wardo get hurt, because he's a pretty good tender. But I hope their streak goes into the 20's lol

I mean, Yann Danis is a capable starter, not just a backup, and we're paying him minimum wage.
I really hope that we give The Danis enough starts this year to get him to stick around. He's 28 and I think can still improve on some things, but I do think he can develop into a good starter.

Third period of the Rags game delayed 15 minutes due to Micheletti's tears over the Drury injury flooding the ice.

Sorry to break it to you, but he was always going to CGY, like Brent, his mind was made up. His gf/fiancee is from there, and they had built a house there.

Pittsburgh got shut out 5-0 by the Sharks. Fleury got pulled after giving up 3 goals on 14 shots. Madness.
