Here's hoping it's a great game!

How's Boyle doing for your team?

I can't believe Kopitar is only 22. Seems like he's been in the league for a while now

Tough Game tough game.
The upside in this is their backup is starting, so we are going to need a quick start and throw his confidence off.

LETS GO RANGERSSSSSSSSSS

a tired rangers team against a very hot kings squad. not gonna lie...this might be the end to our win streak. hopefully theyll play well at least. i see boyle finding a way to score against his old team and higgins scoring to shut up all the critics on this board.

LA is a great looking young team, and to think they still have guys like Bernier, Hickey, Loktionov, Moller, and Schenn waiting in the wings. Yikes!

Should be a good game. Little bummed Brown is on the 2nd line though, he and Staal had a good match-up last season.

LGR!

Prediction:
3-2 Win.
Game Winner: Chris Higgins.

Division... Conference... League ...1st.

How long will it last? Who knows, but this is a fun Rangers team to watch.

Don't let these bozos run the goalie like Toronto last game.

Don't worry, The King's aren't goalie runners.

Too bad this game wasn't a few weeks later. It would be really cool if the Kings played the Rangers while the Dodgers (are hopefully) playing the Yankees like the Kings played the Blues while the Dodgers played the Cards.

Thanks, we're pretty easy to get along with if you aren't a Ducks fan.
Besides Rangers fans were great helping me plan my vacation last year.

Today, Dan Girardi (25), Matt Gilroy (25), Marc Staal (22) and Michael Del Zotto (19) are the new wave of NHL defenders to hit Broadway. The Rangers' average age along the blue line on opening night was 25 years, 243 days -- the fourth youngest defense corps in the NHL. Atlanta had the youngest (25 years 104 days) followed by Nashville (25 years, 183 days) and Tampa Bay (25 years, 219 days). Los Angeles (25 years, 274 days) was fifth.

In fact, the last time the Rangers had four defensemen manning their blue line aged 25-or-younger was 29 years ago when Dave Maloney (24), Andre Dore (22), Mario Marois (22) and Ed Hospodar (21) were the headliners.
http://kings.nhl.com/club/news.htm?i...20in%20English

Dave Maloney was a heart and soul player just like brother Don. Both of them represented the Rangers with class.

Andre Dore was traded to St.Louis for that bum Glen Hanlon.

Mario Marios was the whipping boy for the blue seaters.

Ed Hospadar had his jaw broken by Clark Gillies.

Should be an exciting game. I'm hoping that the Kings can capitalize on a tired team, but it's going to be tough either way.

I'm liking the setup for the GDT you guys have BTW. Visually appealing.

I'm so upset that I'll be at class during most of this.

I watch the Kings all the time when they have the later starts... looks like they are finally turning the corner.

Thanks, I am also not happy with the early start. It's harder to cut out of work early with the economy in the shape it's in. Thank god for Tivo.
