If you could change one thing about this team, what would it be?

I'd take Veilluex off the Vinny line, he just isn't a good fit on a scoring line. Although I'm not sure if you can take him off with how well the 3rd and 4th lines are playing.

Who would you put there in his place?

I'd give Downie another shot at some point, but you can't take him off the 4th line right now with how well that line is playing. Right now Veilluex's kind of stuck there. He's not the reason for a lack of production for that line right now, but he hasn't helped matters either.

One thing that's never really sat well with me is the team's image.

Change the logo and sweater combination interesting to look at.

Outside of that, I'd love for the team to put a minor league team in Orlando, either a team to replace the Admirals as AHL affiliate, or as their ECHL *****. I need a team here dammit.

That's a good point. There's no way Downie moves from that stellar fourth line at this point in the season.

I think Veilluex will get it going. To his defense, Vinny and Alex haven't exactly "got it going" too much this year either.

Have to admit, though, Vinny has been exponentially better than he ever has defensively. When he was the only one back on 2 two-on-ones my jaw kind of dropped.

Agreed. I really feel for him because you can just see the frustration on Vinny and Alex's faces. Halfway through the third period in the Florida game Tanguay had a chance that Vokoun stopped and Tanguay whacked his stick against the boards.

They'll break through soon. When they do, I could look good on their line.

The only thing i would like to see is Vinny having some chemistry with Alex, and I want to see Smaby here, I don't know what happened with him

Lecavalier is NOT a catalyst for a line. I like VL but he needs someone else to get HIM going, not sure if its Tanguay, but I am certain that it is NOT Veilluex...shouldn't have signed him in the first place.....

Veilluex is getting a bad rap for no reason. They didnt sign him to play on a top line and get their best player out of a slump. They signed him to be a grinder and a penalty killer.

Well technically he took less money to come here and have a shot at being a top 6 guy.

Teach these guys how to stickhandle and keep your sticks on the ice! There's just too many whiffs and too many passes behind to nobody. Right now we have too many soft players not willing to pay the price...

One thing? Get better scouts that can actually improve our scoring depth.

The 09 draft was the first draft for the current scouts and I'm not sure how they could have done better than what they did.
