Matt Duchene will never score a goal in this league in fact hes a complete bust I cant believe we used our highest draft pick ever to get this bum . This guy is just a waste of roster space.

Ah yes, who can forget that ridiculous loss 3 seasons ago right around this time of the year? I remember us being up 4-3 at the end of the 2nd, and then losing the game 8-5. Theodore allowed all 8 goals, they really let him have it in Montreal that night.

Just looking for a strong effort tonight...that is all. If we lose, so be it....as long as the boys play hard.

The words of a hockey dad who's son plays for the last place team. I would've said hockey mom if you added "Have fun!"

Not surprising. I expect this one to be about as chippy as the Toronto game. The Habs called up a big bruiser on D of their own in Shawn Belle. I bet there'll be PIMs aplenty between him, Laraque, Wilson, and Koci all sharing the ice.

I'm surprised Budaj's not in net. Sacco said he would get him in during the road trip, and there are only two three games left on it.

He's been historically good against Detroit, so maybe that's been the plan all along.

Should get to watch the whole game, since I don't have work tomorrow. Why? The whole family has the evil swine flu (e5, LOL...actually it's confirmed). We are all fine...and really,if this is it, I'd rather have this than the stomach flu. Blah!

Go Avs!!

2- They are just back from a road trip where they were 2-3 , but in reality they should be 0-5.

3-The fans and the journalist are saying how great and strong the Avs are and that the avs have no chance ... and usually it has the contrary effect so the habs will win.

4-Habs players had a slow start ,Plekanec, Cammalleri and Mara are their baest players with only 4 points in 5 games , so their other "top" players are due to have a good game... and againt they are playing home and the will have to prove something to their fans .

5- we dont have much choice on who will put in the net , we put in a cold goalie in Budaj who was so so last season against an ungry team or we put Anderson against his old head coach ( J. Martin ) and his old goalie coach ( P. Groulx). So even if Anderson has been playing on his head since the start of the season , Groulx and Martin are perfectly placed to know Anderson's weaknesses .

6- we are facing a team on a four days rest , against a team in the middle of a long road trip that will be playing his 3rd game in 4 nights.
While I agree that they have a good chance, all I gotta say is if they win this one, it's just more reason as to how we're playing right now.

And Budaj always plays better cold than when he's on his third straight game or so. And I'd rather face a team on four days rest than a team that played a game a day ago.

From Mile High Sports:

We are currently working on upgrades to our stream, which will provide Mile High Sports Radio listeners with a much better online experience. The new player will be available soon. In the meantime, please tune in to AM 1510 to listen to Mile High Sports.
I've got a bad feeling about that. In any case, it screws me for tonight, as I'd planned on tuning in as I went to bed. Stayed up a bit longer just to turn the game on, in fact. Oh, well. I'd have fallen asleep by the first intermission, anyway. I guess since I'm up I'll watch the first few minutes of the game, go to bed at the first commercial break, for what that's worth (about the same as me telling you all this).
