Feels kinda nice to get back to the Kings hockey we're all familiar with. Was getting a little optimistic for a week or so. Kinda unsettling.

Doughty is faulted for sure on that goal, i am talking in general, we arent getting any help from our goal, no real big saves this game when we need it, Osgood on the other hand has made a few. Ref's Osgood and quick are the reason we are losing imo

I was trying not to jump the gun. But yeah, he's played like his head is elsewhere so far.

I wasn't that impressed with Jack on that goal either. It was a spit second decision, but he cleared Bert instead of charging the puck. You can't give any NHL player a wide open shot from that close.

I don't think THIS even comes close to the officiating we've gotten so far...

When they panned across the bench after the goal, I was fuming at Murray.

If there was ever a time for a timeout, that was it.

When the team looks like that, it is the coaches responsibility to do something about it.

Jack was doing what he's supposed to do. Blame Dewey for that nonsense.

I really think our guys have outplayed Detroit for the most part. Osgood made a couple huge stops, and the refs have profoundly boned us a couple times. This one is leaving a real bad tatse in my mouth.

Terry Murray hates timeouts. I think he has a hot date lined up after every game and wants to end it as soon as possible.

What game are you watching? Our boys can't get anything going. And yes, thank the refs partially for that..

The simple fact is that we had a chance to take care of the Wings when it was 3-2, but Doughty made a bad play and lost the game

We can say though that the refs had a large influence in losing us the game

On the road the Kings need to score on the PP and be good on the penalty kill. Right now that's not happening and 5 on 5 they're a much better team than they were last year. The NHL is for the big boys, nothing is going to come easy for this team.

Ok so after a great start to this trip, 2 disappointing games in a row.

Lets see how the team responds to this. Murray better not babble any of that "we played well, executed the plan just didn't get the breaks."

At least with Frolov not scoring maybe we can re-sign him at a discounted rate

Which was what? Clear the net for a wide open shot from five feet away?

Like I said it was split second so I can't really blame him, but...
