Kovalev miss a good chance on a weird bounce early on the PP
Brisebois makes a totaly idiotic pass and moments later Souray miss the net on a great Ryder pass...

Good pace so far though. But we gotta score.

I wish they'd stop giving us power plays. It takes away any momentum.

They'd stop if Boston quit tripping habs (or habs quit diving )

Wondering what CJ is waiting for to use Markov more on the PP instead of Brisebois. Who's been putrid so far.

I'd wish we didn't get any PP opportunities at all. A PP that isn't scoring isn't the end of the world, but ours is so atrocious that it actually builds confidence on Boston's side and give them a bit more momentum each passing PP. I hope they'll work on that during the next practice because frankly, I've never seen a PP so disorganized and apathic.

EDIT: Here you go. When I was talking about momentum changing side... Bruins score and get a PP.

If they lose this game it will be because of the worst powerplay I have ever seen. EVER.

We'll have to score goals on the PP against the bruins one day if we want to win a game. That where you win game...

B's goal and now a Boston powerplay. If this game was in Montreal, the boobirds would be singing an opera right now.

They were playing well when even strength.

SLOW,SLOW,SLOW.

The Bruins have the habs playing their game, if the habs don't use their speed they are done.

What is with this horrible dump and chase if your not the first man on the puck, the habs have to play their game or they are done.

Jose's keeping them in the game now. It's a matter of time before 2-0

I just realized that Souray hasn't tried to take a shot yet. Even for the extremely brief time they had control in the B's zone, Breezy was shooting. Good strategy by Boston to cover him, but I bet he's still hurt.

If we lose, there will be lots of people blaming him for the loss.

I agree that and the stupid cross ice passes that never work. We need bodies in front of Raycroft asap. We are leaving Theo on his own again. We better do better than we did in the 1st.

Just because he hasn't been doing good on the PP doesn't mean he's lazy.
The whole team is struggling on the powerplay right now. The forwards don't manage to get shots on goal. Now you shut up, most people on this board is tired of you and your bashing.

it's so predictable we give it to Souray who shots so hard from center that the B's have lots of time to clear it.........Larry Robinson used to flip the puck sky high into the corner on the PP and it gave the C & wingers time to get it........I don't no, it's sad to watch them when they play like this, because I don't know if they can break out of this funk.

You are absolutely right. It shouldn't be that way, but sadly it is. I think this team knows better how to handle playing in 5 on 5 situations... where they can execute Claude Julien's defensive system. It just seems like on the PP, no one really knows what he's supposed to do. Someone needs to teach them that when you dump the puck in the Boston zone, there is a reason for that, and it's forechecking, trying to be first on the puck and getting your nose dirty. And if the defenseman decides to get in the offensive zone with the puck, go for the rebound. I don't see why our players tend to make it more difficult than it actually is.

Besides that, I think we outplayed the Bruins in 5 on 5... a much better period than Wednesday night. Except we lost the momentum with those Bruins penalties. Then we caused a turnover on a line change that led to a goal. It shows you can't give the Bruins much 'cause they'll make you pay.
