GDT stolen out from under my nose.

If we win, all is forgiven. If not...

What is the proper attire for a Bump-A-Marty Party anyway? I'm thinking togas. Who's with me?

With midterms on Monday and Wednesday I'm not gonna be up to watch this, but I'm sure I'll be cheering in my sleep. Either way, the Canes chances are probably better without me watching.

So Staal wasn't in practice yesterday cause of the injury he's been playing with. When is Ryan supposed to be back, anyway?

Make sure you invite your wifes sister in law to the party oooooooooooooooh burn.

I still like Brodeur, he's a nice guy, he made a mistake, and I'm sure he paid for it in divorce court, as well as being berated by two different families.

Anyway, I think the 'Canes have a better pool of forwards than the Debbies, but the defense, ehhhh, not so much. And with Staal and Cole out, ehhhhhhh, yeah, the forward stocks are missing two big parts. Should be a good game, though, I'm looking forward to it, they're both solid teams, I don't think either team has a roster that's remarkably better than the other, whoever plays the better game tonight is going to come out with the two points.

I think Staal was simply just out to rest an injury from everything I've read. Still, a Staal at 75% isn't what we need tonight but it's what we're going to get for the next little while. Good news is Pitkanen MIGHT be back in, but I get a feeling we're still a game or two away there.

The Devils are not playing well, but in the regular season they tend to kick our *****... Let's see if we can get that trend reversed and start a good road trip

So Staal is sitting this one out for sure? Shame, his ironman streak will come to an end.

I doubt it:

Center Eric Staal was held out of practice Friday for the second straight day but his consecutive-game streak of 342 regular-season games isn't in jeopardy.
Chip didn't really elaborate, but he didn't seem like Staal isn't in danger of missing tonight's game. Of course, that article is a day old and there is no update on him or Pitkanen, but I'd wager Staal plays.

Latest from the N&O was from yesterday and there is nothing on CH.com on their game preview in the injury report.

I don't think anyone from the N&O traveled to NJ. Nhl.com published game notes; Joni's still questionable up until game time but Staal's in the lineup.

Maybe I contributed to some confusion. Should probably have mentioned that Chip wrote he'd still play tonight, despite not being in practice yesterday.

And I thought I'd be asleep by now..

There was just a really nice feature on Scott Walker and his wife concerning her battle with cervical cancer and the playoff run/incident with Ward on Hockey Night in Canada.

Clarkson and Alberts fought. That can't have gone well.

Rats are up 1-0 on the phantoms on a goal by Nick Dodge. Assists went to Bellemore and Pistilli. Peters is in nets again.

Is it just me or was Samsonov completely useless this season so far. (except that penalty shot against tampa).

I am getting frustrated seeing him on ice.

Just like he started last year. Hopefully he turns it around.

and Aaron Ward is out with injury... This is about the time of the season when we expected him to go down for few games.

The offense looks catatonic. At least Wardo is still sharp.
