November 1st is the cutoff. Right now, waiver order is determined by last years standings. After November 1st, order is determined by winning percentage.

Phoenix won't claim him.

There, now all but 5 teams are one step closer to getting him.

How many injured forwards do the Wild have now?

Ebbett should end up with them.

After what happened with Peverley, I can see Atlanta walking out with Ebbett.

Avs have priority over Toronto because of last years standings.

He's 26 and not playing consistently. He might have requested a trade and Ducks couldn't find one.

Maybe they put him on waivers so he has a shot with somoene.

Burke did this often, but I'm suprise Murray is giving him away like that.

Really doubt he clears. He'll be in another sweater soon enough. The kid has a lot of upside and couldn't hold a spot on a center-enriched Ducks team. Someone that finished lower in the stnadings last year should get him. Maybe Colorado, Toronto, or even Phoenix. If he falls to Buffalo, I wouldn't be opposed to giving him a chance to secure a spot in our lineup. Then someone will finally be wearing #48 again here.

Can the Habs really afford to get any smaller? Ebbett's only 5'9".

Nope.

Lang, Lombardi, Hanzal, Fiddler with Turris and Porter in the AHL.

He was given the 2nd line center spot last year and played his way out of it, and what exactly do you mean by a lot of upside? Since when?

Two players that I thought would stick for a while. Guess not. Wonder if Ebbett will be picked up.

What is Murray doing? I'm pretty sure he could have gotten Anton Volchenkov for Ebbett straight up...

With our current injury situation, Vancouver will likely put in a claim on Ebbett should he fall far enough. He likely won't fall that far, but here's hoping.

Wish this happened after November 1. Burke should still put a claim in for him. Should do better than the sad sack of losers playing right now.
