Some IHL memories.....

I came across this looking ups some old goalie stats... Daniel Shank....

Talk about a guy who was a headcase, but look at his stats in the 1993
IHL playoffs.. how many PIM's???? Check out some of the names on that team as well, some Beauts Hey Fletch, you had Larry Floyd on your '93 fantasy team right?

I could swear I remember Daniel Shank as a winger on the Red Wings. Sort of fiesty too so that could explain the PIM's.

He was, a Dino Ciccarelli type, but even more screwed up in the head than Dino, which says alot. You have to be trying to set a record by getting over 100PIM's in 14 playoff games

pretty impressive, top scorer and that many PIM's, I'm surprised he was on the ice long enough to get all those goals and assists

I recognise 2 or 3 of those names from hockey over here in the UK. Guys like Hodge, Olsen, Smail....

I remember watching Shank in the IHL and the man was a nut.

He could score with the best guys in the IHL but his tendency for aggression {which might be an understatement} always hurt his teams.

The IHL had a few guys i was always surprised no one took a shot at.

Patrice Lefebrve was a tiny guy who could score and played with a lot of heart. Washingto gave him a few games and then that was it.

More like a big publicity stunt. I also got to meet her many times and she was a real *****.

Patrice Lefebrve was awesome, he stayed in Vegas as I've seen him at my gym a few times (although it's been quite a while since I've last seen him.) It's too bad he was so small or he could've been a definite NHLer, I'm only 17 and about 5'9, yet I remember towering over him when I talked to him.

We probably were the luckiest of all IHL teams as we got to see the likes of Bonk, Yashin, Nedved, CuJo, and some other great players.
