What is the proper attire for a Bump-A-Marty Party anyway? I'm thinking togas. Who's with me?
Make sure you invite your wifes sister in law to the party oooooooooooooooh burn.
I still like Brodeur, he's a nice guy, he made a mistake, and I'm sure he paid for it in divorce court, as well as being berated by two different families.
Anyway, I think the 'Canes have a better pool of forwards than the Debbies, but the defense, ehhhh, not so much. And with Staal and Cole out, ehhhhhhh, yeah, the forward stocks are missing two big parts. Should be a good game, though, I'm looking forward to it, they're both solid teams, I don't think either team has a roster that's remarkably better than the other, whoever plays the better game tonight is going to come out with the two points.
I think Staal was simply just out to rest an injury from everything I've read. Still, a Staal at 75% isn't what we need tonight but it's what we're going to get for the next little while. Good news is Pitkanen MIGHT be back in, but I get a feeling we're still a game or two away there.
Center Eric Staal was held out of practice Friday for the second straight day but his consecutive-game streak of 342 regular-season games isn't in jeopardy.
Chip didn't really elaborate, but he didn't seem like Staal isn't in danger of missing tonight's game. Of course, that article is a day old and there is no update on him or Pitkanen, but I'd wager Staal plays.
