This feels like a 1-0/2-0 loss waiting to happen

gotta say that was one hell of a kill. It's probably going to be for nothing the way our offense looks but that was easily the best kill I've seen by this team in a couple seasons.

Has Brodeur even had to make a difficult save in this period? It's doubtful

It looks like Marty is going to get to sleepwalk to another shutout. At least we made it tough on him in game 5.

Rats are going to overtime. Kolanos tied it in the dying minutes of the third. Peters is 29/30 thus far. Hope they get the win.

Cam really deserves so much better.

At some point you have to wonder when this team will wake the **** up and stop sleeping walking through the first half of every season.

And this ****er Parise scores. I hate this idiot. @#*($@(

I know it's pretty early but this team going nowhere with this play. It's 7 game so far and we can't score in two of them. Last season we score goal in every games. If Staal wants to play for Canada, he must start to play game and put points and production.

I feel really bad for Ward. He stands on his head for an offense that gives him little to nothing. He doesn't deserve these losses, the way he's been playing.

The way this season looks to be shaping up he'll be the best goalie in the league with a losing record.

Samson continues to roll. Just scored the game winner unassisted in overtime.

At least the rats are good...

Like Luongo when he was in Florida. I can't remember how many times we beat them only scoring 1 or 2 goals because he was so good but his team was so useless.

We have three games that should all be wins coming up. This team better wake up.

Sounds like the Carolina Panthers, who could realistically be 3-3 after next week, but I've practically given up on them this season.

Also, the Avalanche aren't pushovers this season. My hopes aren't too high for that game, honestly.

The most important position for us is set in Ward....The Panthers not so much. I don't know if I can take another loss tomorrow

Why have you practically given up on this season already? Didn't the Canes struggle early last season and finish ridiculously strong?

I think Carolina will wake up, unfortunately, they seem like they really push hard once the playoffs get closer and they're there.

I was talking about the Carolina Panthers. They stink something awful.

The Canes have the luxury of a much longer season, so they can right the ship (soon hopefully) and make a strong push.

Very flat play tonight, too many good players on the 'Canes to play so ...half assedly, no reason they shouldn't at least put up a fight against a Devils team who was also playing very flat. No reason they shouldn't win against a Devils team that's playing very flat.

Game was a downer.

Started hot, then hit a **** stretch like this. But absolutely and I agree with you entirely. I think the ONLY thing that might need to be considered is making a move to get some fresh blood (read: Samson) a shot at this roster. About the only thing that I would be extremely critical over this season is that there are a few players that seem quite complacent about their spot on the roster. That can not stand and a little shakeup to get another prospect/draft pick wouldn't be uncalled for.
