Stinziani to Chicoutimi!

ANOTHER trade! ^^ This time, Michael Stinziani (Cape Breton) goes to Chicoutimi in return of a 3rd pick.

-----------------------------------------------

And Maxime Renaud (Bathurst) traded to Baie-Comeau, again in exchange of a 3rd pick.

Who's next?

I very well doubt that's the next trade considering that could only be done at Christmas time.

Very glad with this trade; Lacombe was a completely useless 20yo, as we have a team packed of youngsters, a veteran with Q experience is welcomed.

also, if Tousignant come back he'll fetch us way more then what we paid for him.

It wouldn't be the first time we saw that kind of trade... Remember what Val D'Or received in return of Brad Marchand! Halifax lost the semi-final in 4 game and Marchand was even not there in the last game (no injury, just sratch!) And look where Halifax is now!

But, I don't think it will happens. Montreal have a lot of time to look at all the offers and get the jackpot in return of Allen!

I was only joking you know...

It will take a lot to get Allen out of Montreal. However, I hope Montreal won't make the same mistake as Lewiston with Bernier.

Guess there was a little foreshadowing on my comment from yesterday. Deschamp and Adam looked good together. Does anyone agree that we have a good shot at Deschamp

Will you stop embarassing yourself with these rediculous comments/suggestions?

Brodeur may not even be in the league next season.

Jack is right on Brodeur. He may not be in the league next year as a twenty. Second a solid winger won't do the trick they need at least two and that will be costly. Getting one of the following will not be suffice, Caron, Legace, Deschamps, Vachon, Cormier, Lefrancois, or a Doyle. You need two just to be in the game with Saint John and Quebec. Watch out for the Tigres as well, they may be a team who adds a few at the trade dead line and make some noise. Rouyn will be in the hunt for a twenty year old and Victoriaville and Saint John maybe in the mood to upgrade on their twenties. If you are going to sell, I say you move Nick to Saint John along with Brodeur for a seventeen year old, pass of Ward and Bernard off to PEI and release Guay or send him to Quebec, Jan to Rouyn who need a twenty and a Euro per sey with MacDougall, Adam for the best offer and could be the biggest prize that yields the biggest return and sit on Roy until next year since Allen will be the goalie most likely to make the biggest noise. Horyl and Meilleur are your two tweties and you can upgrade from there.

It will take Le siuer + Jodion and picks + some at the draft to even come close to landing someone like Dechampes or Legace.

Sure it won't! Very similar to the Macenauer trade last year to Shawinigan.

Deschamps and Lagacé are better players than Macenauer. Like I said, it would probably look like DiDomenico's trade.

Giroux (2008 2nd round pick) + Gingras (2008 3rd round pick) + 1st pick + 2nd pick.

The 2nd pick came back to Drummondville for Hoffman.

So it would take at least Le Sieur + Shaw/Cuzner + 1st + 2nd

Of course, if you include Ellis you could have both of Lagacé and Deschamps!

---

I spoke with a scout of a QMJHL team and he told me some things.

* Caron is already a Huskies.

* Rouyn is also trying hard for Cormier.

* Victoriaville is ahead in the Deschamps sweepstake.

* GMs are trying to keep their high picks as much as possible when they're talking trades because scouts think it will be one of the best draft in recent years. There are a lot of great 15 yo coming out of the Quebec Midget AAA and also from the Maritimes.

Shaw and/or Cuzner will not be traded to a Quebec based team. Atleast Cuzner won't be for sure. If it's anyone going with Le sieur I see it being Jodion. With someone like Meilluer going back at the draft.

And well of course if you add Morgan Ellis into any trade talks you can pretty much have anyone in the league.

Depends on who you are bidding against. It isn't like other teams couldn't throw blue chips out against you. That being said, I think it would be foolish of Cape Breton to buy. Sell and hope you can avoid 4th and your season will probably turn out better (and you will set yourselves up for next year and your 2012 bid).

It wouldn't upset me at all if our bid on Adam started with Kelly, Despres at the draft and a 1st.
