damn.... pizza pizza is one hell of a pizza place. Legein could of made the pre-game meal and for that reason howson should be fired why? Now they can't save money on pizza......

Depth signing or pieces for a further trade? I can't tell if GMSH is just bulking up the minors or has something else in mind.

As far as building depth or "bulking up", there is an interesting read on LTL.

Meh.

Good luck to all involved. But mostly to Howson.

For those folks with Legein avatars (I count two) I can probably do warranty* replacements if you PM me with ideas.

*: Limited replacement warranty - if the player in your avatar is traded within the first month of the season, a replacement may or may not be granted at the avatar provider's discretion. A preference for the replacement must be given. No further warranty is provided. Offer only good through 31 October 2009. Offer may not be valid in some states. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. No refunds.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

From one of the players I know pretty well, SL was a real whine ass, complained about everything in the locker room from where he sat to the ice being ******, nothing pleased him and apparently he made a few comments on the ice during c-bus trainning camp that he doesnt belong in syracuse and didnt want to be in syracuse..

Same goes for Legien. He is too small for the NHL to play the style of play he tries to play. He was never going to be a full time player in the NHL for the jackets.

Yes, but I heard the same about Ratchuk.

This reminds me of the Pineault/Blunden trade last year.

Ditto!

Same problem the Niagara IceDogs had with Legein when he played here.

This kid has a ton of skill but unfortunately his crappy attitude out weighs the skill.
Hopefully he will smarten up and play with a parent club one day.

Good luck to ya Stefan.

Some Philly fans were a little upset when Ratchuk did nothing during a Phantoms/River Rats line brawl. I hadn't heard anything about him being a whiner, but he hasn't improved defensively in the past two years.

I agree. I think Its simliar to Pineault/Blunden trade.

Look at Pineault now, HE got dumped by Chicago, Boston picked him up on a PTO and he got canned form tht.. Not sure if he is playing anywhere right now, Besides Blunden is a much better deal for C-bus.. Hopefully this new D-man will provide some new energy and hopefully be that puck moving d-man c-bus is looking for..

I enjoyed watching Stefan play for Canada

and he helped them win the gold. I enjoy his style of play. Good luck to you Stefan.

Bottom line he wasn't doing much in the Blue Jacket org., and didn't see upside movement available, now maybe he will get a fresh chance.

Seems like we have a lot of young offensive minded dmen, most of which are in various stages of development. Howson, Wright may have decided lets get some quantity and see if we can develop a few of these guys. I don't know.. but I do know they have a plan. Howson doesn't do anything hastily.

Nor have I seen Howson make a trade where he clearly tries to snooker someone.. most of his deals bring value to both sides; and with that said both players need an other opportunity.

It is a pity Legein was traded. I think this boy can be a very good player.
