He wasn't even bad last year when he played D, kind of sad he didn't get a job anywhere in the NHL.

Blows my mind that the Habs didn`t find him to be useful to the team this year......At times(certain games) last year he was one of our best forwards,and then next thing ya know he`s back on D.Who couldn`t use a player like that ?

he had a tryout with SJS, they traded 2 d-men and he still didnt make the team.

Yep spelled like that, also Paul MacDermid used to disturb **** on the ice.
In the 1985-86 season Robertson ( who was not very big by the way ) had 358 pim.

Compared to BGL, our enforcers now, are a farce ! Instigator or not !

There was also Pat Boutette. Lol!

They were one of the teams, along with the Flyers, who had ... well ... "pants" for a season or two, if I remember correctly.

Back on topic, happy for Dandenault, the cap world is pretty rough for some average players.

Remember Dandeneault complaining that he did not have a place on the team? That if he was not going to a regular D he wanted to be traded?

I do.

Do you remember him being a softie all year, but when the Habs played the Wings he came flying over the top to defend Koivu... only to never do that ever again for any team mate....

I do.

There are a ton of players better than Dandenault, probably even JP Cote, who I would take over Dandenault any day.

Mike Keane will be a future AHL and potentially NHL coach because of this and because of knowledge.

I wonder what Bob Sirois has to say about Dandy not getting on with an NHL team?
