This is going to be a tough game. I'm sure he thrashers see it as a measuring stick game. Kovylchuck thinks this is the best team atlanta has had since he's been there. I'm sure the feeling in the locker room is pretty good.
The caps need to not let down against a "lesser" team or they are going to get whipped. Varly needs to have a good game and the boys need to be focused defensively or little, kovy, peverly, white, etc. are going to work them.
Long ass time between games, NHL. It's a goddamned Olympic year, and you've handing out five-day rests? Go to your room and think about what you've done. Why have all your teams play only on Thursday and Saturday nights, then virtually no games for five nights a week? It's bullcrap!
Every team wants Friday and Sunday games along with Saturday games. All of them. Make it happen.
Why is Samuel L Jackson so pissed off? Has he had it up to here with the NHL's scheduling too?
This one could be ugly, as Atlanta looks pretty solid lately. Then again, they lost to a crap Montreal team the other night, so maybe there's hope. Here's to hoping for a good night from the likes of Semin, the centers, a modicum of defensive responsibility, and that the layoff doesn't have the team rusty as hell. Tired of Ovechkin being the only guy bringing his A game.
Nuts, Semin is sick, isn't he? Crap.
Somehow, that is also Schedule Man's fault. Half a Nylander for you.
