Calgary and Van is a great duel... I must agree, it was h*ll of a game that Calgary won...
This should be a team model for the hab since they pretty look the same to me (both canadian teams, both underdog, both got yong prospects...etc.)
If the Hab play like Calgary did yesterday, they will win!
And... what about a final confrotation between Calgary - Montreal? '86 souvenir!

it s ok to dream, especially when you are an Hab fan!!!

The west is fun to watch because it is an offensive and speed type of game, the east is more clutch and grab and trap oriented. Every game in the west is fun to watch all year round, the Habs would look like that too if they use their speed to exploit the bigger and slower Bruins.

Yes... but we had to give them one for Lanny McDonald retirement! (if you remember, it was his last game ever!) lol

1986 => Calgary (Bob Johnson) VS Montreal (Johnny Perron)
WE BEAT CGY off for our 23rd cup!
thank you

Just wanna add something : If CH would play in the western conf., I think they would kick ass lot more than in a trap style of play ...

Also, what is more interesting for you??? Watching a game based on defensive style or a more Offensive style hockey? I think that if you like defensive plays, the East is better. If you prefer offensive plays than West is the place... which doesnt mean that there is no offensive style team in the East (Ottawa) and defensive style team in the west (well... Calgary has an EXCELLENT defensive play this year..)

Go Habz Go!
