Song of the day should have been Staind's 'it's been a while'.

Wait for the Rangers' games. It'll be like New Years Eve on South Beach in Miami. Party central.

All I'm saying is a win + dollar dogs + plenty of beer= A very happy Kambo. Minus that win, and I may smash things.

Great job, MSE.

Even with all of Boston's injuries, I'm not feeling very positive about tonight's game. Long layoffs often lead to less than full efforts for any hockey team and, regardless of the injuries, the Flyers need a 60 minute effort against Boston.

Outside of the Olympic break, the Flyers have more than three days between games only once... and that's in two weeks. Let the full schedule of Flyers hockey for 09/10 begin!

Win. Please.

I'm going to keeping tabs on the score while I do my archival project. If we don't win, I'm liable to flip out at the library and ruin someone's ****.

I just heard about the Jones hit. Via NHL Live. Meanwhile, Jones isn't even playing in our lineup! And, it was what - two seasons ago? Get over it.

The Bruins made a roster adjustment earlier today:

http://www.boston.com/sports/hockey/...s/bruins_blog/

Quote:
Forward Guillaume Lefebvre was called up from Providence and will be available for the Bruins' game against the Flyers tonight.

Lefebvre played his first game for the Bruins Saturday in Phoenix. He had one assist and 42 penalty minutes in five games this season with Providence. He has six total points in the NHL in 39 games with the Flyers, Penguins and Bruins.

We should have a pool on how quickly it gets shown or discussed by NESN. I say within the opening 3 minutes.

My bet is that it's mentioned in the opening game segment, suggesting that these two have a history because of it...or some BS like that.

I'll take the under.

This is how I see it going, right from the get-go.

Announcer x - Hello Folks, welcome to an NHL matchup between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins. I'm x and with me tonight is y.
Announcer y - Thanks x. Tonight should be a good matchup. There is a lot of bad blood between these two teams. Patrice Bergeron is still trying to get back on track after his concussion he received from a nasty hit by the Flyers Randy Jones two years ago. I expect a lot of hitting tonight on both sides, and a very physical match-up between these two teams.

Please do. I will bet some V! on this.

Per Philly.com
"About 1,100 tickets remain for tonight's Dollar Dog Night tilt"
Yikes. I hate how much ticket prices are now.
