Funny story. A Wings fan made it a point to cut off then subsequently flip off my dad on the 101 already.

Sybil?

...or maybe Vicky, Peggy, Mary, Marcia, Vanessa, Mike, Sid, Nancy, Ruthie, Clara, Helen, Marjorie, or the Blonde?

An ex of mine is an admitted arrogant wings fan.
I hope they can pull this one off. Not just for her sake, I want to see video of 12,000 disappointed wings fans leaving Glendale Arena.

12,000 Wings fans? Geez, I'm just hoping for 12,000 people in the building. The fast start is garnering some attention for this team. (Nice that they are getting attention for something besides bankruptcy). I hope this starts turning into more fans and more butts in the seats.

Heh, don't wings games usually sell out? I'm hoping for 12K wings fans and 6K Yotes fans. Although if they sell out it'd probably be more like 12K wings fans, 3K wings fans that are usually yotes fans, and 3K yotes fans.

It would be nice if the team can be successful enough where all those traitors start showing up to games wearing Yotes jerseys and cheering for the right team.

I'd say half of the Wings fans are usually Coyotes fans. You can spot them because they are the ones that can handle their alcohol. The ones puking and punching and stumbling will be the ones that never go to Coyotes games when the Wings aren't in town.

-I'm not a Wings fan. I was wearing a red Coyotes jersey.
-I didn't cut you off on purpose. I was avoiding a drunken Wings fan laying in the road.
-I didn't flip you off. I shouted "Lets Go Coyotes" and clapped.
-It was on the 202.

Wait.....maybe that wasn't me.

Wing Nuts are usually the more annoying of the Red Wings crowd and I have talked smack back at them for attacking the team and its fans.

I bet one of them will say this tonight:

"Red Wings won 11 cups, how many cups have the Coyotes won?
0! Just like how many hockey teams will be in Arizona next year!"

My response ?

Congrats! Detroit has as many Stanley Cups as percentage points on the unemployment rate! LOL
I bet everyone in Detroit is proud of its cups in a city that makes Oakland California look more evolved ! LOL

Detroit is only at 11% unemployment? Isn't that the national average? I figured they'd be somewhere around 67-72 percent.

Maybe you should tell them that they have half as many cups as unemployed percentage points.

That penalty should never have happened. They keep taking the puck away, then they get lazy and give up horrible turnovers. Stop that and Detroit has almost no chances that period.
