I thought the Yotes were outplayed by the Wings this period, they need to play better in the third when they want to come back in this game.

Phoenix seemed to go to sleep for a long stretch in the 2nd. Detroit looks very good and we looked like we were standing still at points in time. Still 20 mins to go...

Dumb penalty at the end of the first killed totally the coyotes momentum...
They need to play more physical to get back into it.
And please stay out of the penalty box

Several times there in the 2nd where the Yotes were on their heals. Even strength but sitting back in the defensive zone like it was a PK.

Does this ref owe Maltby money or something? How does he miss the slash on Upshall? Runs interference on the Coyotes resulting in a turnover and then they call a hook against Phoenix.
Refs are not costing us the game but call the bloody game.

Osgood has made some really good saves tonight. I've never been a fan of his but he's played really well tonight.
Lepisto keeps creeping up the depth chart for me. Love his patience and skill with the puck.

I love how I jinxed him. That's why I'm not an Osgood fan.

I bought the ref a burrito from Taco Bell... I was sure he would give the win to the wings.

We were outplayed most of the game but if you're offered two points, you take them. And I kinda feel like this makes up for the Aucoin goal that was waved off against Columbus.

A little lucky, but I'll gladly take any win, especially over the Wings.
