Can you believe that only ****ing Colorado is in front of us in points? I refuse to believe that they've got a better roster than we do.

Penner's shot is just terrifying. Even when Garon made saves off the shot(s) the rebounds were impossible to control. And the sweet thing is...Penner has enough game sense to k now the value of shot placement...totally planned that rebound on Lubo's goal.

BTW: Lubo was terrific tonight as well.

I LOVE THIS TEAM!
Couldn't agree more, I might add thank Tambellini for hiring Quinn and Renney.

All I know is, after seeing how these boards reacted over the last couple of seasons, I hope that the Oilers keep winning. A guy could get used to all the love on the boards right now.

Perhaps, Penner is on drugs? Or is it the flu virus that has such an effect on him?

Penner has always had a hard and heavy shot but didn't utilize it enough or place it as great as he should've. He's also been superb at deflections this season. Best player on our team and our division, hell our CONFERENCE thus far this season.

I know it's early but holy **** am I excited to be an Oilers fan right now. Quinn better keep that top line together for the rest of the season. Never thought I'd see Penner getting a standing ovation at Rexall 8 games into the season.

from what i seen Nilsson just swatted the puck out......he was in a fight along the boards with 15 seconds left.....get the puck out and was lucky to hit the net

Can you imagine how good we can be when Souray gets healthy and we get the rest of our crust back Brule, Stone etc. Folks, if we can shore up the defense a bit, we can go places this year, i really feel it Maybe compete for the division?

Maybe someone else responded to this before I did, I didn't check, but that wasn't a selfish play. He was pressured and the puck was bouncing on him. I'm fairly sure he wasn't even aiming for the net.
