Mission Accomplished

Well, we did it: Split the first two games in VC.
Now all we have to do is break the curse against the Nucks at the Dome. I think we'll split there as well. We've shown we can control the tempo of the game, and we can handle their forwards, and even the pinching D. All the jitters should be gone by now, it's time to show the Canucks they are in for one helluva battle!

Go Flames Go!

I'm slightly concerned about how well Calgary's going to be able to contain their emotions at home. They've had a tendency to stray from their game in order to impress fans.

That being said, it's going to be ROCKIN tomorrow night. I thought Calgary seemed a little bit nervous game 1 in the intimidating atmosphere that was GM Place. That scenario is going to flip tomorrow (it'll be nuts at the 'Dome) and hopefully the boys can draw off that emotion and get the Win

Also would like to point out that I was only 6 when we won the cup and cannot remember the "C Of Red." So I am totally stoked about tomorrow...
Go Flames!

Same with the Canucks at home this season. I'm looking forward to the games in Calgary, it will be nice to see what kind of atompshere the newley-playoff feverd Flames fans will have.

shouldn't the mission be to win the whole series and not just one game?

p.s. this is my favorite emoticon ever!

Baby steps, baby steps...............

One more win, and we force a game 6 at the Dome on Sat, bringing in some more much needed revenue.

Got to take the next one to make it happen.

Anybody know Chris Simon's status for game 5?

Its sad but I remember when the Canucks first made the playoffs after a drought I looked at it the exact same way when it came to revenue

i agree on this.. calgary is really deep in the hole this year.. even with a high canadian dollar

for the owner's sake (for sticking to the team for so long even tho they've been in the red) i hope they make the 2nd round and make some dough

Does anyone know what the loss was this year? If we win the series, do we have a shot at breaking even?

Mission Accomplished????

I'm as excited as any Flames fan about the win, but we are far from mission accomplished. The 4th game in any series is the hardest to win. The Flames still have a lot of work to do.
