I don't think Toews is playing.

Preds pull out of the windy city with a 4-2 win. Cal with the game winner.

I am ready for some hockey! Miami scored with 1:58 left in the third to win last night so I got my adrenaline going.

I think we are going to win, 3-1.

I think this is an early swing game. If we somehow find a way to win, I predict that we'll start rattling off Ws and get back into the mix. If we lose, it's going to be rollercoaster for a bit longer, unfortunately.

The Tribune said he's questionable. I'm going with that.

The Preds lineup will be up ASAP. I had to have my Explorer towed to a tire place this morning so I haven't had time to put it together.

Huet? Has Quenneville been raiding Len Barrie's stash?

Want to know why our record is so bad right now?

Steve Sullivan - 2 points. Jason Arnott IR.

Legwand and Erat are notoriously streaky. Ward could not be counted on for consistent production to begin with and Hornqvists production has matched if not exceeded what we should have expected out of Ward.

The poor start to this season lies on the inability of our top line to score. Granted, it has been together for less than half the games with Dumont getting knocked out early, and Arnott going down right after Dumont's return. Still, those three guys have to produce regardless....or we lose. Its that simple in my mind.

Streaky! They not only have not produced a ton of offense but are also both - 7 after last game. I hope one of them starts streaking soon!

I hate +/-. Its obviously going to look bad because that line isn't scoring....at all....but Legwand is just as good defensively as he has always been.

Probably to reach the cap floor. Same thing happened with LA offering Stoll that money which he clearly was not worth.

We didn't need to reach the cap floor, though. Erat has the ability, he's just doing what he always does. He's trying to beat every defender and waiting entirely too long to look for the pass.

It was a poor decision. It was a stretch even at the time.

This is the biggest thing I always noticed about Erat. How many times have you seen him use his skating to create some room for himself and open up playmaking opportunities but he has his head down and is not even looking for a play or he will wait way to long to make the pass. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Erat has the physical tools, just lacks the toolbox.
