I know a lot of games have already been referred to as tests, but this should be a good one. The Kings will no doubt want to beat us after we dominated them at their home opener, end our winning streak, and take the division lead. Hopefully the Yotes have a good response for them.

JC's work with these GDTs goes a long way toward legitimizing us as a fan base. I mean that almost 100% sincerely.

Couldn't agree more! Other GDT's pale in comparison to JC's . Thanks for all the hard work!

I think this is an important game for us tonight. It's the first time we are facing a team for the second time in the season, so they have seen our style and won't be surprised by our new system. Tonight will show us whether the system will work for the entire season or if it was just a flash in the pan that caught everyone off gaurd.

IMO, I think tonight we'll show why we are one of the best teams in the NHL right now.

4-1 Coyotes; Bryz stays hot; Upshall, Lombardi, Jovo, and Doan with the goals.

Not sure if Bryz is starting but just noticed he's moved into 3rd in the Coyotes goalies GP list..

Sean Burke 211
Niko Khabibulin 204
Ilya Bryzgalov 120
Curtis Joseph 115
Brian Boucher 96

Drama with Frolov, Williams out. I think only Quick coming out and having an all-star type game to prove hes worth his new contract would stop us from winning this game.

Bryz expected to start:

Ilya Bryzgalov is expected to start in goal again for the Coyotes. Bryzgalov has started all but one of Phoenix’s eight games and has a 6-1-0 record and a 1.26 goals-against average.

With regard to Tippett's plans for playing Bryzgalov, it's interesting to note how heavily he rode Turco in Dallas:

Season - Games Played
2002-03 - 55
2003-04 - 73
2005-06 - 68
2006-07 - 67
2007-08 - 62
2008-09 - 74

Going to the game, much thanks to our generous friend RR. I'll be extra loud tonight because of his generosity.

Kopitar has been on fire lately, I look forward to him and Hanzal's match up.

Do you know the reason for that? Usually a blackout is accompanied by an available local feed. Wait.. maybe the tape delay at 10:30 counts.

NOV 2001 Former goaltender Sean Burke earns the NHL Player of the Month for October. He posts a 7-1-1 record, 1.54 goals against average and .950 save percentage, helping the Coyotes to their best start in franchise history.

Great GDT.

Should be a great game. Yotes and Bryz always seem to have our number, but this year even more so...you're having a hell of a run.

It's nice to have a battle for the Pacific division lead between us two teams, however early it may be. Looking forward to it
