Well it isn't the same without your "OMG I haven't seen Huet play like this before" or "Huet is a great goalie who is technially perfect" posts

Now I would like to see us play better D because that 2nd period was a bit too back and forth for my heart.

You must be in hockey heaven tonight. Habs won (in OT as well), and Huet doing well tonight. Let's hope he can keep that up.

I really love these Blackhawks "One Goal" Commercials ... "I want to make Byfuglien a house hold name" ... "Kid: Byfuglien ... B-Y-F-U-G-L-I-E-N"

Yea, that one is so cute!

We could easily be up by a couple more goals here, but Huet's looked pretty good back there!

Hahahah...well I never said he was technically perfect, but when he's on, he's close.

Hawks have tightened up a bit now it seems.

Hawks PP negated by Predator flop!

That should have been 2 for Buff and 2 for Pred player!

Did that Madden shot actually get deflected?? I couldn't see it that well, but if not that would be the one of the worst shots I have ever seen on an open net.

WOW, Buff just leveled someone at the end. All I saw was some boards, with 2 white legs sticking up from the top.

Awesome by Huet. Just what this team needed, a 1st star type of game by their #1 goalie. Great.

Great for Huet to get this. Now hopefully he can build on this performance (with teams other than Nashville).

That would be the drawback to all this Huet SO glory. He just shutdown the worst offense in NHL!

Nashville or not, he did stop a LOT of shots that were deflections/rebounds/redirects. Which are normally hard for any goalie to get 100% of the time.

Nice to see Sullivan get smoked by Buff there at the end

Huet with the shutout. I guess all it took was reopening that thread.

This could go a long way in helping Huet's confidence, especially considering he did this in front of the home crowd, was the #1 star, and got large cheers from the crowd.

Nice job, Huet!

Foley called Dave Scatchard "Fiddler" at least twice. Scatchard took Fiddler's #38 after ol' Vern went to PHX.

And Olczyk said something like "Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook have been outstanding on the penalty kill tonight." He meant Sopel, but still.

On a non-criticizing note, this was the second Blackhawks game already where there no penalties in the first half of the game (EDM on the 14th). Weird.

Actually it was Colin Wilson that got checked by Buff (#33). Pat missed it and called Sullivan.

Anyway great game for Huet. If he gets going after that would be awesome.
