this has to be the game where all the hard work starts to pay off...and where WE get a lucky bounce.

Is it just me or does the feed for the game look as though its been pre-recorded? Is it some HD gimmick there trying to show off?

I don't like it, doesn't feel live at all...

I noticed it too. Video problems they said.

Scott Hartnell is a madman out there. I love this kid.

That was close, I thought Detroit had another fluke goal there.

Looks like Chelios might have a minor concussion, he was pretty dazed. Hopefully he's alright.

Legwand scores on a shorthanded breakaway! What a gift from Hatcher.

1-0!

Legwand!!

I was just talking to my brother how Hatcher shouldn't be on the PP, and bang, he turns it over and Legwand scores. What is Lewis thinking having Hatcher on the point on the PP when you have so many other possibilities?

Pretty good crowd in Nashville.

Anyone know what they were chanting after the goal?

That's a pretty sick shot by Hall.

So far so good in Hall's playoff career.

Adam Hall! Great work by Hartnell in front. Lidstrom couldn't handle him.

That period couldnt have ended any worse for the Wings. They dominated basically the first 12-15 minutes, then lose their heads in the last 2 minutes.

The Preds crowd is going nuts. Tough mountain to climb now for the Wings.

The Wings MUST get the next goal. Like posted before, the Wings dominated the first 15 or so minutes but once again cant mount any offense in the first period. If the Wings can come out and get a goal early in the 2nd they'll be in ok shape. But the Wings have to get something by Vokoun in the 2nd, they cant go into the third down 2-0 or worse

and i was not a fan of the Whitney/Hatcher defensive pairing on the power play right when they came on the ice. Hatcher is still getting his game back and Whitney really has not done anything since he's been on the point on the power play. Id of rather seen Chelios and Hatcher close out the power play together

If anybody shouldnt be on the PP, its Hatcher...not Whitney. Whitney does an OK job out there. It was footspeed that resulted in that goal. Hatcher shouldnt have been out there. But oh well...its in the past. Wings need a HUGE 2nd period.

Man, Legwand has been all over the place this game, he needs more than 4 or 5 minutes of ice time.
