The Kings would probably be very interested in Horton and possibly Ballard.

Hickey, Moller, 2nd for Horton and Ballard?

Nope, you're wrong. Ballard goes nowhere. It's BEYOND ridiculous to think so. I could go into the reasons, I shouldn't have to.

None of this is going to happen anyway. Maybe some moves, but no "yard, fire, etc." sale.

As two other posters already said, the Sabres would be very interested in Keith Ballard. I don't see why Florida would want to give up their young, talented #1 defenseman signed long term, though.

If you think Ballard goes nowhere you're crazy. With the right deal he is gone.

Stop this "yardsale", you're overreacting dude. And we are getting terrible returns from everybody here.. give it a break. Weiss and Booth won't be traded, so forget it. And Horton, might be traded... but I'll rather keep him, if there's not a proposal that blow my mind.

Dude, this is make believe. Just curious how people feel about our team. Ballard could definitely be traded. There is no way he is untouchable. When you're almost a last place team you can't expect people to have safe roster spots.

Panthers don't want Toskala, the rest is at least interesting.

You don't honestly think that Robak is better than Tlusty, Kulemin or Grabovski at this point do you? He's not even playing in the NHL or AHL yet. He's a good prospect, but hasn't proven anything at this point.

Horton for Tlusty, Kulemin and Grabovski leans in favour to Florida... but its not that far off.
Robak for Gunnarson leans in favour to the Leafs.. but its not that far off.

to FLA---Tlusty, Hagman & Grabovski (6.75 mil)
to TOR---Horton, Matthias & Reinprecht (6.845 mil)
(I hear as well that FLA is looking for an enforcer, we could throw in Rosehill who is a young upcomer....pretty darn good fighter too)

Horton>Hagman
Tlusty>Matthias
Grabs>Reinprecht(although he has been looking good)

Nice little shakeup, seeing Reinprecht though and considering how you just signed him might end up being a slight flaw in this plan. Hagman and Horton had very similar numbers last year, Tlusty is tearing up the AHL and has played with Frolik before (plus seems like Fla kinda has a Czech theme going) and Grabovski is, well...Grabovski. I know his numbers don't reflect it but he is playing good hockey this year, better defensively and is starting to find a groove. Can pull off some fancy moves and create offense, Frolik seems like a guy who could keep up with him. I personally think this is reasonable, although you might get a better offer for Horton.

This is my first proposal on these boards, hah so take it easy on me.

Only untouchables on the Panthers would be Booth, Frolik, and Markstrom imo. Kulikov is the only other one that I'd think twice about trading. But everyone else can go.

Why is it funny? That is a decent package. Niskanen is on the same scoring pace as Ballard for the last 2 seasons and is 4 years younger. But, Ballard seems to be more solid in his own zone. Brunnstrom scored 17g in 55 games averaging 11:37 min (4th line min) of ice time a game in his first season in NA. If he can become a little more defensively consistent he'd be able to score 25+ goals a season. But, I can understand if FLA doesn't want to part with either of those players.

Because there's no chance in hell you're getting Markstrom. Overhyped or not, he's just simply not going to be moved. Certainly not for players with ifs and maybes.

I also think Weiss should be on that list. He hasn't had the best of starts but i think being passed over for the Captaincy has played a part in that. He is still our best defensive forward and will be our future captain once McCabe leaves or retires.

how can you spell so many players names wrong?

Tlusty, Toskala, Vokoun. I'd hate to see how Grabovski would have been spelt.

Hell bryan allen is prolly the best comparision for what SOB could be.
Allen was horrible before he left vancouver. in FLA he became such a good defensive dman.
when in van, he took stupid lazy penalties

Not saying the pieces from Florida aren't solid but so are the pieces coming from Toronto. As a leafs fan I'd really hesitate to make this deal. Gunnarson would be in the NHL if it wasn't for our ridiculous amount of d that can't be moved. He's in the A by default. Tlusty is a first round pick from 3 years ago that's tearing up junior. Again a lack of roster spots keeps him down. Kulemin seems to be on Wilson hit list this year but looked great for us last year especially in the second half. Grabs is a good young player. They aren't elite players but neither is what's coming from Florida

definetely not. just because his ahl numbers suck doesnt mean tlusty better than him. matthias is actually not lazy and working hard to make this team and had actually done pretty well for his limited ice time. plus doesnt tlusy have only 4 points in 6 games.
